Meh, I never thought he was all that good as a DB coach either.   His units were always under performing the majority of the time.  They built a reputation off a handful of good plays over a season and somehow the fans bought it.  Same thing Ron did as a coach.

Sam Mills III had a lifetime job why would anyone ever leave that? I guess thats not how things work anymore.

He'd have had that with Richardson.

I'm not absolutely convinced he had that with Tepper.

Ron is going to shoot himself in the foot...again. Hiring pals and their sons, with little experience. I don’t understand his reasoning, other than being a ‘nice guy’.

They gave Wilkes so many guys off the bottom of the barrel year after year, because they knew he was good enough to work with it.
