Andrew Berry might not be getting the Browns job

Per Mary Kay Cabot, Paton took himself out of the running over the same concerns that Josh McDaniels expressed during his interview for the head coaching job. He had doubts about the current power structure in the Browns front office.

Browns don't seem to learn from past mistakes.

Imagine being a billion dollar organization, one of only thirty-two in the entire world, and needing to try and talk people into working for you.

Surely getting around 1M to forward emails from the owner to Jonah Hill and a janitor can’t be that difficult?

From all the things you posted before about their “structure” and “philosophy”, I wouldn’t make it through an interview without laughing myself out of the room. “You want me to do what every week?”

Good thing is the rest of the league doesn’t really hold any performances related to the Browns against a player/coach/exec. They know that crap flows downhill from a never ending stream

Stefanski said in his presser that the whole story about him having to submit game plans to Jim Haslam wasn't true.

I can't help wondering if maybe that was the original plan, but after they saw everyone ridiculing the idea, the Browns shifted gears and acted like that was never their intention.

"Oh, ha ha. No, we're not gonna do that. What do you think we're stupid?!"

I forget who it was, but we had somebody here who was all up in the notion that we should hire Kevin Stefanski because he went to an Ivy League college. I think he even guaranteed it would happen.

Well as of now, the Browns have a head coach, GM and high executive who are all Ivy Leaguers (Stefanski - Penn, Andrew Berry - Harvard, Paul DePodesta - also Harvard).

Unfortunately for them, they're still the Browns and still owned by Jim Haslam.

That might have been bobowilson, but I couldn’t swear to it.
