Sherrod Martin 4 Rookie of the Week

If Godfrey is starting again once he's back from his injury, I challenge everyone at the game to rush the field and whoop Fox's coward ass.

I'd love to see Martin out there doing the same thing every week but, as Ethan Horton said on The Point After with D&D (WBTV), people do not lose their jobs because of injury in the NFL. People everywhere shouldn't lose their jobs to illness or injury. So don't be whooping anybody for doing the right thing. Godfrey will be starting when he comes back. How long he keeps the job is up to him.

That is kinda a crappy deal, but makes sense.

It's a "crappy deal" just because you're a fan and want to win. I understand that. But if you became ill and you were out of work for a month or so and when you came back you didn't get your same job back, that would suck big time, right? So there are laws to protect against that. Doesn't matter who is doing your job when you come back.

But like I said, it is Godfrey's to lose. We'll see.

First, Godfrey wouldn't be getting fired. He is under contract. He would still be apart of the team and getting paid. He would be getting a slight change in his job description.

Second, Maybe he should have performed his job better before his injury. If he had then this wouldn't be an issue :)

move godfrey to the nickel and keep martin running around out there

Absolutely NOT! Munnerlyn needs to be on the field as much as possible. Only one that bumps the WR. Was not afraid of Fitzgerald at all. Best open field tackler of our DB's. Has guts!

See ..... it's not so easy to just shuffle players around. It affects everything. Gotta see the forest. :D

    • I'm not sure that in a fair QB competition that Young would beat out Jones.
    • That's why I said stats aside. I lived in CO during Allen's college career and didn't have kids at the time so I watched most of his games. Bruh, I'm telling you. Balls just spraying all over the place. The type of throws where you're honestly trying to figure out who he was even trying to throw that one too. It was crazy. Richardson was inaccurate in college but at least you could tell who he was trying to throw it too. He threw a lot of early in the game Cam Newton type balls where it seemed like he was just a little too amped up and everything was a few feet high. Richardson's misses looked like they were maybe fixable with working on his footwork, release, etc. Josh Allen's misses looked like "ain't no way you're fixin' that poo, dude has a cannon equipped with no sights". LOL Huge props to the Bills for evaluating him as fixable and indeed fixing him.
    • A lot can change over the next week, but here is my best 53-man roster (note: I'm just basing this on guys on the 90 man roster currently). Obviously there could be trades/ waiver claims/ FA signings.   Offense (25) QB (2): Bryce Young, Andy Dalton RB (3): Chuba Hubbard, Rico Dowdle, Trevor Etienne TE (4): Tommy Tremble, JT Sanders, Mitchell Evans, James Mitchell WR (7): Tetoria McMillan, Xavier Legette, Adam Theilen, Jalen Coker, Hunter Renfrow, Jimmy Horn, Brycen Tremayne  OL (9): Ikem Ekwonu, Damien Lewis, Austin Corbett, Robert Hunt, Taylor Moton, Cade Mays, Chandler Zavala, Brady Christensen, Yosh Nijman    Defense (25) DL (6): Derrick Brown, Bobby Brown, Ashawn Robinson, Tershawn Wharton, Sam Roberts, Cam Jackson OLB (5): DJ Wonnum, Pat Jones, Nic Scourton, Princely Umanmielen, Thomas Incoom  ILB (5): Trevin Wallace, Christian Rozeboom, Krys Barnes, Jon Rattigen, Claudin Cherelus S (4): Trevon Moehrig, Demani Richardson, Lathan Ransom, Nick Scott  CB (5): Jaycee Horn, Mike Jackson, Chau Smith-Wade, Corey Thornton, Shemar Bartholomew    ST (3): LS: JJ Jansen  P: Sam Martin  K: Matthew Wright    Would like to hear everyone's thoughts
