Corona Virus

Add OkState HC Mike Gundy to the list of ignorant Sports morons opening their mouth on the Coronavirus and how it is effecting their bottom line.

Gundy went on some incoherent rant about how his players can  beat the virus and how it has been blown out of proportion by the mainstream media - then plugged a right wing, extremist news outlet. Crazy times indeed. Lots of people showing their true colors. I bet they’ll be an apology by the end of the day with a “I didn’t know what that network was” slipped in there as well.

China getting a lot of bad pub from around the globe. They are selling all kinds of things that don't work, at high prices, for the virus they started.

They might pay an economic price after all, especially as Europe is getting ticked

Your showing your true colors too. Did you get a warning for this? Just wondering.

Dude I’ve been warned here and sent to time out on here so many times I’ve lost count. It’s happened enough to know not to take it personal. Linville Rodeo and Rayzor are my bros and do a good job for the most part.

check the website that Gundy spoke about if you don’t believe me. It’s garbage and advocates conspiracy theories. If he thinks that outlet is the best for Coronavirus coverage then there is no way I would let my child play ball for him.

my point stands - there’s a lot of people, politicians and sports coaches, crying about this virus hurting their bottom line when people are getting sick and dying. Embarrassing.

Agreed. There's gonna be serious backlash against China and likely serious repercussions following this. I feel for the Chinese people who will likely bear the brunt of the suffering from it, but yeah... fug their government.

There has already been racist attacks on Chinese people in America because of this and I’m sure they’ll continue. I

dumbass people will do dumbass things

I lived with a South Korean exchange student when I was in college, and one of the few things I remember about him was how he was very, very embarrassed that a Korean shot up Virginia Tech. He apologized to us and wrote another apology in broken English on his door. He was worried he was going to be a victim of hate crimes here or prejudiced attacks because he was Korean.

    • I'm happy with TMac, but Tyler Warren was last season's Tyler Linderbaum for me in that he was at a position that wasn't one of the five pillars but he was the best player at his position AND one of the top talents in the draft. I cannot fuging wait for the Panthers to start winning again so that those guys fall to us like they seem to for teams like Baltimore & Philadelphia.
    • Still working on consuming all of these so I don't have summaries available, but I figured there might be another Huddler or three trying to kill time before tonight's final preseason game.   Panthers Blueprint: Training Camp The in-house produced Blueprint series has given behind-the-scenes look on the field and off. Start the day with Robert Hunt's family, be in the morning meetings, mic'd up players during practice (Jaycee, Rozeboom, Icky, and Bryce), roster evaluations by the staff, and plenty of camp highlights capping off with FanFest.   Processing Blue (Mike Kaye & Alex Zietlow Mike and Alex are back talking about a variety of topics including but not limited to: joint practice + preseason game vs. Houston, Trey Hendrickson trade rumors involving Carolina, training camp awards, draft pick draft, and various thoughts about the team.   Jordan & Jake 706: Opening Day Another in-house Panthers' production, the most recent episode of Jordan and Jake talk about how to properly balance intensity in practice, react to the starters being shutdown for the preseason finale, share their thoughts on the newest Panther QB, and more.   Raw Room - Ep 278 - Gas Pedal (ft. Mike Davis) Assistant special teams' coach Darren Bates' Raw Room podcast has former Panthers' RB Mike Davis on his weekly podcast. I'm about halfway through this one and it's been a lot of fun. The Raw Room guys (DB, his friend Alex Sweets, former Eagles/Chargers OT King Dunlap, and former Atlanta DB Jalen Collins) are hilarious and Mike fits right in. They talk about his football experience coming up, decommitting from Florida and how he decided on South Carolina, and more. Warning: If you're the type of person that is easily distracted by accents, despite XL being on the team, you might have issues with understanding the Memphis dialect. If you don't care about how somebody talks, just what they're talking about, tune in!
    • Allen was borderline unplayable in College.  He's an absolute unicorn in terms of his career panning out the way it has.
