Jake knew it was time for him to go and was very humble in the process. That tends to garner a lot of respect. There is an end of the road for every star player.

Cam gets the folks so riled up around these parts that threads about him continue to be banished or moved to another section.

It's perfectly fine to have other non-Panthers threads though.

Think I'm going to be going with dual screens on opening day watching the Panthers and the Newton England Camtriots

One point:

If Luke were healthy and playing somewhere else, lots of people would pull for him and his team.  No problem people wanting Cam to do well. People should not be offended that you follow your favorite player on another team.

Another point:

Mahomes, Watson, and Dak will be the 3 highest paid QB's in the league very shortly.  The "Cam can't get paid cause he is black" line of thinking might not be the best chip on your shoulder.  If Cam is not being paid, especially with his athleticism and size, then the whole league is worried about his arm and foot.
