Have you watched Russell, he is extremely aggressive particularly in the red zone. He is also arguably the best deep passer in the league. They couldn’t be more opposite as quarterbacks

Quote
Aggressiveness (AGG%)
Aggressiveness tracks the amount of passing attempts a quarterback makes that are into tight coverage, where there is a defender within 1 yard or less of the receiver at the time of completion or incompletion. AGG is shown as a % of attempts into tight windows over all passing attempts.

The data suggests Russell doesn't take a lot of risks this year forcing balls into tight coverage.  That's simply what the aggressiveness stat tells you.  That's the statistic that you attributed to our deficiencies on offense, particularly our inability to score TDs.  He's just pointing out that it's a flawed argument to make, considering the league leader in passing TDs is Russell Wilson who is the least aggressive QB in the league, by a decent margin.  There's no correlation between aggressiveness and TD passes.

Our offensive struggles are a lot more complex than "Teddy isn't aggressive enough".

I literally don't think you understand what that statistic is.

Reeeeeeally wanted that guy outta Michigan. I went looking for Gary, left hoping the FO saw what I saw in Chase.

Reason #4073 you never, ever draft a workout warrior. Winovich was more productive, and looked miles better on film. But for some reason organizations still get blinded by guys running around in their underwear. That’s not to say Gary is a bad player, it’s just the value of the Winovich pick by New England can’t be denied.

We could have had Burns and Chase....smdh. 3rd round gem...but then again we traded ours away to get Little.

Pat's got a good one ... then went back last draft and got Uche the next year. ( Who I think we looked at ). Both of whom, I liked better than Gary.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
