what does that have to do with anything?  he sucks right now.  your takes aren't aging well because he got benched overnight and you look like an idiot

Lol yup look like such an idiot. I forgot about all those former MVPs and franchise QBs that were released and the teams received zero compensation. He got benched because it was a blowout. Bill already said he is still the starter, but that doesn’t fit the agenda of a few on here. Amazing how we just dismiss the first two weeks and the month he missed because of covid. Keep living week by week and ignoring the big picture.

there's no agenda.  you're pretending he's 2015 cam. you're the only one left btw.   i watched the game yesterday.  he's not right. he's making that wincing face after plays.  its his foot or shoulder idk.    maybe he got some cognitive impairment from covid and his sharpness will come back.  i sure hope that's it because that's about the best case scenario right now.

Oh, it very well may be coming. I just thought we would've already seen at least a couple of them.

Understood.

I don't want to sound defeatist but right now those upcoming games against the Chiefs and the Packers look like Grade A nightmare fuel.

I'm actually still encouraged by or young talent because it looks like the roster rebuild is going fine so far, we just still lack talent. We got nothing on the interior O Line but we knew that those guys were cheap stopgaps--they were bound to get exposed at some point this year. Thankfully you can find that in the middle of the draft (and realistically we need an actual good free agent there bc a rookie isn't gonna dominate at guard).

The young d-lineman are learning on the job and still look promising to me. We got three high draft picks in that area, i think we need to be patient with them bc they've all shown flashes of being the type of D Line we're known for.

QB is a clear area to upgrade if the draft falls that way.

We need to also invest in the secondary with some more draft capital too, I'm very pleased with Chinn (and I wasn't even excited about him when we drafted him) so that's a start. Safety can be addressed in the draft and with Jessie Bates in free agency. Corner is always a need.

I'm still thinking we're a tad ahead of schedule when it comes to expectations. Losses just hit different now.  But make no mistake--we lost a home game on Thursday night football. We're not good, but we can get there.
