Missed that. He has been a stalwart at an invisible, yet critical position. We don't need to spend a first or second day pick replacing him, or any pick at all, but it is not a trivial task to get his durability, consistency and ability.

I know its hate on herniay season on the huddle, but he traded for JJ. I 100% hated it when it happened, i think he gave up a 6th for a long snapper(green bay?) and I was pissed. Ended up being worth it. I helped my cousin train some for a long snapper role, its waaay overlooked.

Isn't it super easy now? i.e. you just have to be able to accurately snap a ball 15 yards.

I feel like they've changed the rules so you can't line up over the LS. The physical, blocking, requirement has been removed from the position for safety reasons.

You have to be perfect, zero room for any error. On some you need to make a perfect snap and then turn in a LB running full speed to tackle a water bug. I mainly caught balls and threw them back, thousands of them(I bet @TheSpecialJuan is soo jelly). He was a OG and didnt even get a tryout offer, trying to think ahead and be more resourceful. I couldnt understand at a young age, he had some of top weight lifting record at the school too.

I mean does ANYONE remember the last time JJ had a bad snap? Even before him, I can not think of one time a panther long snapper had a bad snap. I think JJ has only 1 bad snap and close to 1,000 snaps, but I can not recall it. Perfect in all weather conditions too, its nearly the same stress as kicking.
