Yes i know there are plenty of these threads but i figured I would start my own.

-4th in league in rushing yards

-Leads the League in Rushing TD's (18) and Total TD's (20)

-Has the highest yards per carry avg of 1000 yard runners this year (5.4)

-Has the most runs of over 40 yards (5)

-Of 1000 yards backs has third fewest attempts (248)

-1458 all purpose yards

-Has nearly a third of our offensive points 120/381=31% of points

-Most 4th quarter rushing TD's in NFl (CLUTCH)

And to me the greatest stat of ALL!!!

ZERO TURNOVERS---The kids hasn't hurt the team in any way.

Yes, I know their is Manning, AP, Ryan, Harrison, Warner but IMHO no player has meant more to his team than DeAngelo Williams..He hasn't missed a game or every taken a play off. Great ambassador of the game and never thinks about himself before the team. Just Imagine what this kid could have done with 50 or 60 more carries. 2000 yards easy!! GOOD LUCK D-WILL!!!!

Warner - NO.. he has fallen apart at the end of the season along with his team.. if it wasnt for the division being so piss-poor, or Singletary took over a few weeks earlier, they prolly wouldnt make the playoffs..

Brees - NO.. he has had one of the best years for a QB in awhile.. but when has the MVP ever come from a team that finished last in their division??

AP - Probably.. he has the yards.. he has his team in the playoffs (as of now).. and he has the Name everyone knows..

P.Manning - Probably.. yea, its kinda been a slump year.. if you consider being 4th in the league in passing yards after going AWOL for the first 3-4 weeks with a bursa* sack.. we all havent paid enough attention to the Colts, mainly because the Power has switched sides from the AFC to NFC and they werent up against Tom Brady for their annual shootout.. nevertheless, he shud still get consideration..

Matt Ryan - Maybe.. he should definitely get the Rookie of the Year, Mike Smith should get Coach of the Year, both Turner and Ryan are Probowlers, but i think MVP is a stretch.. Atlanta has had a great turnaround and probably one of he best ever in NFL history, but Ryan isnt even in the Top 10 QBs.. and after Brady's MVP season last year, it be a pretty huge falloff from 07-08.. too much in my opinion..

Harrison - NO.. this man is a beast, but lets be honest.. you have to be a man amongst boys on Defense to win the MVP.. Harrison is a essential part of a great defense, the MVP of the Steelers defense if you will.. not the MVP of the NFL..

Ware - Maybe.. if he gets the sack record, which is very possible, he could possible win MVP if Peyton and AP get shutout in their own respective way.. but like i said, you have to be a man amongst boys on Defense to win the MVP.. Ware is the MVP of the Cowboys defense.. if the Boys miss the playoffs, no way he gets any consideration..

D.Will - Maybe.. i think he has to jump Portis in yards and possibly narrow the gap on Turner to get consideration.. if he finishes 3rd in yards and breaks the 30+ TD record and has another 3-4 TD game, he might get a slim chance.. but since he is sharing carries with Stew (major blow to MVP hopes), i doubt he gets consideration.. AP's name is much more widely known..

Ryan isn't in the top ten? Go ahead and name the 10 qb's that have been playing better than him.

    • I thought he was from watching him play and also doing his first HC job. I thought he was the real deal  Apparently what happened is Kraft committed to Mayo and I don’t remember the timeline exactly - but Vrabel was unemployed at the same time Belichick was unemployed. They both were fired after the 2023 season.  Kraft hired Mayo. Who was kind of an obvious disaster. He probably already had the deal in place but I will give Kraft credit for not sleeping. With Vrabel out there for 2025 he made the move he needed to make and if it hurt Mayo’s feelings then oh well.  I guess you can tell I am not fond of Kraft but that was a really savvy move. At his age, pretty good. Still has it.
    • It’s going to feel like a home game for the bills. There are so many of their fans that live down here now, and many of them have never seen Allen play in person since their last visit was 8 years ago. It didn’t matter for the cowboys game, but it might here. I think we likely lose a close one. Probably a questionable flag or two that doesn’t go our way. X factor for Buffalo will be Kincaid and Knox. If we do win it’s because we get ahead and play keep away from Allen. FYI- I have many friends who are Bills fans that are fed up with Beane who we all revere and think is the one that got away. They feel like he was great to land Josh but has done a terrible job of building around him (especially at WR) and rely on him to become super man to win- sounds kind of familiar, like the last time we had a franchise QB.
    • I always thought of him as an uptight military family dude, didn't know he needs to wash that mouth out with soap lol.
