Tampa at home for SB

wonder if that means they can use their own lockers or have to move to the visitor side loll

They’ll prob use some loophole that allows them to change the designation of their locker rooms...so the home officially becomes the visitors and Vice versus lol

Yeah but I'd take going to a SB with a team of mercenaries over a team of "home grown talent" that loses every year like the Panthers

And if they wind up losing and sucking for the next decade when Brady retires? fug that I'd much rather build a team that can have sustained success than just go all in and hope it works out for a season or two. Even if they do win this year, once Brady's gone that team is gonna go right back to being completely miserable. I'd much rather be a Panthers fan going forward than a Bucs fan, despite their success this season.

It got them their first SB if it gets them a second what Panthers fan here wouldn't make the same deal?

I wouldn't. I'd much rather try to build something like the Steelers, Pats, Chiefs now, Seahawks, Packers, etc. Consistent, sustained success with championship(s) mixed in too. Bucs have no shot at that, they might win 1 but then it's back to the dumpster for another decade. They have no direction at all once Brady and their key free agents are gone in the next year or two. And if they don't win this year or next that's even worse.

So if you were the Bucs would you have stayed with Jameis instead of signing Brady?

Only the Patriots have more than two titles.

    • It’ll be interesting to see how the board falls I completely agree with you on TE for us The safety from Oregon would be the cherry on top for Evero’s defense/scheme.  If a OL’men is there that you love it would be very hard to pass up. This fan base seems to just see Walker as a stop gap but I wouldn’t be so sure. He’s the same age as Ekwonu. He’s had a much more impressive career arc/progression than Icky has. He’s the better pass protector. As far as I see it if Walker has a good year I’d bring him back over Icky. Ekwonu isn’t some elite franchise LT. Playing next to Lewis is going to be great for Walker much like it has been for Icky. We definitely need to get younger/cheaper on the OL though so for this reason alone it’s still top of my list come round 1 if board falls this way  Could also use another corner with Mike Jackson’s deal up after this season and needing a nickel but Corey Thornton looked really good in that role in the limited time we got to see him. However he’s coming off an achillies injury and you never know with those.  Then as mentioned above we do still have a need at WR. As far as “weapons” go it’s kind of a 2 man show with Tmac and Coker and neither is a burner. If Jordan Tyson is there at 19 and we can have a young WR group locked up for cheap that’s a huge advantage cap wise  And don’t forget linebacker. That clip in Devin’s Lloyd blueprint they used from Evero saying they need more intelligence there could’ve been left out for Wallace’s sake but it’s true. Wallace is lost in coverage. Pair a smart linebacker with Lloyd and that’s a group with Wallace and Cherelus being depth
    • The fact that this is even a discussion is a testament of the level of front office badassery that's going on.
    • Not always. LT was for the Giants. So was Ray Lewis. Von Miller was moreso than Manning his final year in the season that shall not be named. It's usually the QB, but not always.
