Rhule will build the bottom of the roster--that makes you practice better, you handle injuries better, and you find gems to fill gaps and holes.  I am pumped.  This is a good list.

Yes sir.

Between him and Fitterer the team has a good thing going.

Curious...who does Rhule report to?

If you're talking about the Coastal Carolina game, that's not really true.

Wilson had his team in position to win, but his receivers let him down. Honestly, receivers were letting him down pretty much all game.

Like I said, that is the only time I’ve ever watched him play

Rhule asked what he looks for in a QB: "You want someone who's elitely intelligent, a tremendous leader. You want someone who's accurate, who has arm talent to make all the throws and who has a history of making plays in crucial situations."

That sounds alot like Zach Wilson

Yup it sure does !!!! I’m on the Zack Wilson bandwagon!!! He would be great to replace teddy week 8 week 4 or shoot week 1. We will see...

Unfortunately like

What kind of probability do you place on this ending up as the actual outcome...

unfortunately a low probability he slips to 8  ... But seems like we are willing to wheel and deal , So if and when a possibility happens for zack Wilson jump on it... from the press conference Matt Rhule described what he was looking for in a QB.. My opinion is that Zack Wilson is what he was describing... I guess the next question is how much would you pay for the #2 pick in the event ????? Is he worth trading up too 2 ?? I would do it but at what cost ?

and would we be able to get D.Watson with the same package ? If so I’m into that as well ...

    • It’ll be interesting to see how the board falls I completely agree with you on TE for us The safety from Oregon would be the cherry on top for Evero’s defense/scheme.  If a OL’men is there that you love it would be very hard to pass up. This fan base seems to just see Walker as a stop gap but I wouldn’t be so sure. He’s the same age as Ekwonu. He’s had a much more impressive career arc/progression than Icky has. He’s the better pass protector. As far as I see it if Walker has a good year I’d bring him back over Icky. Ekwonu isn’t some elite franchise LT. Playing next to Lewis is going to be great for Walker much like it has been for Icky. We definitely need to get younger/cheaper on the OL though so for this reason alone it’s still top of my list come round 1 if board falls this way  Could also use another corner with Mike Jackson’s deal up after this season and needing a nickel but Corey Thornton looked really good in that role in the limited time we got to see him. However he’s coming off an achillies injury and you never know with those.  Then as mentioned above we do still have a need at WR. As far as “weapons” go it’s kind of a 2 man show with Tmac and Coker and neither is a burner. If Jordan Tyson is there at 19 and we can have a young WR group locked up for cheap that’s a huge advantage cap wise  And don’t forget linebacker. That clip in Devin’s Lloyd blueprint they used from Evero saying they need more intelligence there could’ve been left out for Wallace’s sake but it’s true. Wallace is lost in coverage. Pair a smart linebacker with Lloyd and that’s a group with Wallace and Cherelus being depth
    • The fact that this is even a discussion is a testament of the level of front office badassery that's going on.
    • Not always. LT was for the Giants. So was Ray Lewis. Von Miller was moreso than Manning his final year in the season that shall not be named. It's usually the QB, but not always.
