Quit it with ripping Fox for clapping after a bad play...

I didnt realize our guys needed a good clap to remember that their coach had confidence in them. I wish my boss would do that when I screw up. For crying out loud, these are grown men playing the biggest, baddest sport in the world! They dont need John Fox to clap for them! What they really need is a coach who can motivate them.

It's the NFL. I mess up as a kid, I get my ass beat or yelled at, not get clapped at. He might as well encourage Jake to throw INTs or for a DB to fug up. All their consequences will be is getting applauded??? If our players can't handle an ass chewing then we are in need of an identity search.

They're grown over paid men, Fox. Get on their asses.

    • You are right. At the same time I don’t think people are watching games going come on Bryce put it on the ground or sail it OB or whatever. They just have trouble seeing him turning his 3 or four or five top games of 2025 into the weekly standard outing. Which you expect for the kind of money he will ask for (speaking for myself anyway).
    • In terms of comparing Pickett and Young's arm talent it's basically a push at best. Pickett is sitting at 6.2 yards per pass attempt for his career while Bryce sits at 6.0 Last season Bryce was 6.3 in yards per pass attempt. Only Justin Fields Spencer Rattler (both 6.2) Kyler Murray (6.0) 41 year old Joe Flacco (6.0) 44 year old Phillip Rivers (5.9) rookie Cam Ward (5.9) and Tyrod Taylor (5.8) had less pass yards per attempt than Bryce Young in his third season as a starter. Folks going around acting as if it is beyond the pale to say Pickett might have a better arm than Young are living in an alternate reality. You can choose to not believe your own eyes after 46 games but everyone else will acknowledge reality and move forward accordingly.
