To answer the thread title directly Bryce is getting credit for game winning drives when he doesn’t throw a pass. He gets credit for game winning drives when it’s just a field goal after a Daniel jones fumble. Yeah Bryce is going to get blame when he can’t outperform Tyler shough. Sword cuts both ways. -
Don't know if I'd go that far. It was still Reich in charge at the time (who I, like many, still believe would have preferred Stroud) and the phrase they kept using to describe Bryce was "point guard". In football terms that translates to a West Coast style quarterback, which is what Bryce was (and is).
