Changes nothing as it goes to the salient points made by @AceBoogie...

Surely our genius owner would know better than to treat a QB this way or let his staff do so right? I mean he is insanely smart, rich and knows what he is doing. Don’t question Tepper again or he will flunk you out of Appaloosa School.

No he most certainly did not. And that report was misleading click bait. Not a soul from Deshaun’s camp would ever confirm it because it ain’t true. Same way Stafford and other QBs don’t want to come here. And why would they? The only QB we had that was worth a damn we ran out of town.

First off, it's not clickbait because it was said on Cowherd's show.

Secondly, Watson hasn't confirmed nor denied anything since this whole process started, so what you're saying is a nonstarter.

He left it to the "football people" and look what happened...

...two fumbles...

...three fumbles and yer' out!

You think a man of his intelligence would step in and prevent that from happening. How do you know he left it to the “football people?” Do you have a source or just a random guess?

Scot says Tepper does not get involved.

If Scot says so, it must be true.

Scot saying it doesn't make it true.

Matt Rhule saying it does, though.

Does it now?

Rhule's the black swan coach for whom "coach-speak" is not part of the repertoire?

    • Aggressive runner, hits the hole fast, and runs angry.  Just a few yards shy of the single game record for the team.  Absolutely phenomenal performance.  If the gameplan hadn't become weirdly pass heavy for the 3rd and first half of the 4th quarters he might have been flirting with 300.
    • I felt that way before the season started, but I'm sorry, he's already proven he isn't that guy, I don't need to learn anything more about him. He threw the ball 30 times today and could only throw for 198 yards, which was his 2nd best yardage game this year, he's just not the guy. Which means this season has already moved onto the 2nd most important thing going into this season after evaluating Bryce, and that's developing our best young players. You don't do that by only throwing 8 of your 30 passes to your best player who is still only a rookie.  Pepper him with targets and help develop him so he's ready to take a huge leap next year when we get a real HC and QB to get him the ball.
    • Every win comes from a non-sustainable source.  As CRA mentioned, Penix absolutely imploding against ATL, and then today, defense finally clicked and looked the best they’ve looked in a long time (and still have up 24 points lol) and Rico ran for 200+ yards.  We’re not going to get that every week, especially against good teams, which neither Miami or ATL are.  Both MIA and ATL are bad teams and Bryce still couldn’t get it together.  The defense (and team) had to overcome 14 points because of his turnovers again.  That was not even an average QB performance.  We are winning in spite of him.
