Feels like all the bosses will require lots of time to see their patterns of attack but that takes so much die, run to boss, die, etc.  In the back of my mind I wonder if I will come up against a boss I just get tired of fighting.

Cleared about every area I can but it is just time to face Genichiro.  No way around it.  He has smashed me every try so far.

About halfway through this game and I have to admit…this game is incredibly hard for me.  I love getting through each area only to meet an impossible boss.  Even some of these mini bosses are so hard.  This game is the ultimate challenge.

And fug these headless assholes

Anyone playing this game that is familiar with From Software games…I have to say…Genichiro is like an amazing wall.  However once you beat him you are ready for the rest.  Great game but you have to get through that guy.  More of a door than wall to be honest.

The game really opens up after him and fighting becomes much more manageable

Anyone getting discouraged by this game it boils down to two incredibly hard bosses.  Genichiro and Guardian Ape.  Sure the final bosses are hard but get through those two and you have it.  This is a short game but these bosses are so challenging it feels like an epic.  Overall I would rank Soulsborne games as follows:

1 - Bloodborne- masterpiece - with dungeons this game is incredibly awesome.  Every weapon begs to be used

2- Dark Souls - gaming world is so amazing

3 - Dark Souls 2 - incredibly underrated and it might be my favorite if you include PVP

4 - Sekiro - the most challenging by far for me

5 - Dark Souls 3

Yea I think I'm just terrible bc I'm struggling to get even through the first part

I would tell you it gets easier but…if you are enjoying it I would say stick with it.  Everyone is terrible at the beginning

Also if you come up against a headless creature save them for end game…they can be really frustrating

    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
    • Very true on the length but stuff like this is never where we shine. We aren’t a good team at drafting.
    • Homerism aside, the more I see from Dan, the more impressed I am.  His player evaluation instincts. Last year his 2 premier FA signings, Hunt and Lewis COMPLETELY changed the line and I have a feeling his success in choosing blue chip guys will continue.  Look at the panthers’s rep for FA signings in the past. By and large, it’s been guys 1 year past their prime who had an injury and suckered our GM in to a crippling contract. We never get nice things. When was the last time this team signed 2 young blue chip studs  in the same offseason to contracts worthy of their impact? Ever?  Im telling y’all, players respect and trust Morgan.
