I am still baffled why people think that DTs have a minimum of 5 sacks a year to be successful.

Because of Aaron Donald. He is “dat dude”. Everybody ain’t Donald though. Unrealistic expectations. Other than Kawaan Short, Kris Jenkins is the only other DT I can remember that could pass rush

It wasn't really directed at you.

There seems to be a ton of people on here who think if Brown doesn't put up 9 sacks a year then he is a total but.

I reread the post, and you are right. If he has that much success then he will always be employed.

All good my brother. I just looked at it from him college production as a guy who didn’t take the QB down too much and he has shown flashes of it as a pro. If he can get just a bit better at it he’s going to be one of those DTs playing into his mid 30s.

    • Ehhhh except a lot of it was his refusal in college not to play hero ball.....  The two things he greatly improved at the NFL level were his accuracy on the run and learning he didn't have to take the deep shot every play.   That said when taking a massive boom or bust athlete at QB the most important thing is their work ethic/coachability/desire to improve

    • The new (released today) FOX ONE app will allow you access to watch your Local FOX Station - similar to how the Paramount Plus app allows you access to watch your local CBS station It'll cost you $20/month for the privilege, but if you're having trouble accessing the over-the-air antenna for FOX, this could be an option to consider the new ESPN app will give you access to ESPN content, but not to the local ABC affiliate. A reminder: if you currently get ESPN via some TV provider (cable, satellite, youtube, etc) then you should be able to use the new ESPN app via your provider login, no additional payment required
