I agree....  Maybe the author was suggesting that we were a trap game for the Saints following their win vs. Green Bay? They were overlooking the danger we posed?

Anything is possible but knowing Peyton and his love for destroying us, I doubt it.  I loved the look on his face throughout the game.

Seeing the look of being lost really was worth watching.

We've shown the league, pressure Winston and he'll show his true colors.

We just have so much quickness on defense. And it's not offset my them being soft.  We're large, athletic, quick as hell.  And Shaq has really shown a second life.  If we take care of the Texans, the Boys matchup is going to be super telling where we are given their weaponry.

That's the crux of that article when they bring up getting a pre-snap reader like Dak.  I'm interested to see how much we can get to him and if we can collapse their line.  Nothing is finer than seeing a 4 man or less front just dismantling 5 OLs ass backwards into their QB.

Yep.  Just about anytime we have been a good team, we have had the ability to rush the QB with just our front 4.  Being able to do that successfully just opens up some many things on defense.

Having so many athletes that can cover and tackle top to bottom is what's really opening the defense up and allowing these mixed packages. I really hope we can retain both Reddick and Jackson. The only problem is they're playing so well we are going to have to pay top dollar for both with a lot of big contracts up coming, even though we will be able to afford it for next year.

Shaq has been a stud in coverage too. It's been interesting how few snaps Carter Jr. has gotten too. Seems that the MLB position isn't as important as it used to be in this scheme.

Hopefully they will be able to keep the whole young core of this team together for quite some time.  They have finally gotten us out of cap hell, and done a really excellent job of opening up a lot of cash in the next few year, when combined with the cap projected to go way up, I'm hoping they are able to extend just about everybody they want to, and add some vet help on the o line.  In Fitterer and Suleiman I trust!
