Had a nightmare last night

BTW, it might be off 'dream' subject, but I don't know if anyone watched, but Brian Billick was asking some pretty tough questions to John about Jake and shouldn't he consider looking at getting a QB soon...his answer: well every team in the NFL is always looking, all but maybe 5 teams in the league are, they are expensive and if you get someone from the draft that turns out to be good, it's pot luck...obviously not an exact quote, but close enough. Kind of an odd answer, but typical politician answer.

No the game was already 27-24 and Delhomme was driving the Panthers down the field until he forgot about Lance Schulters and threw a pass right to him around the 50 yard line. I'm a Dolphins fan, was at the game, and was SURE the Panthers at the very LEAST would tie the game. But the way they were driving I thought it was over...

Hopefully Jake helps us out again tomorrow night :)

    • You are too harsh. Owners tell GMs what to do all the time. It doesn’t make someone “unfit”.  A man unfit for that job could not have had that 2025 draft.  And I am not trying to be belligerent I certainly don’t feel belligerent,  just trying to use some common sense. Tepper is the last guy that wants to give up on Young. The coach had WRs throwing fits on field and sidelines in view of everyone. He had to do it, but needed permission. I just can’t buy Tepper instigating that. Sorry.
    • You guys are just going to have to accept the fact that Dan Morgan is a mid GM best case scenario currently. I used to have people get very belligerent over defending Scott Fitterer too. And that's not hyperbole. People used to go to bat for that guy like he was blood related. We have a truckload invested in the OL and what do we have to show for it? The whole unit is already banged up including one of our big signings. Even without all that the group has largely taken a step back from last year in pass protection. Then you get to the QB room and there's only two conclusions you can make about Dan Morgan. Either he deliberately ignored it two years in a row on his own accord or he took orders from Tepper to do so. Either scenario says he's not fit to be an NFL GM.
    • Frank, ceding control of the defense in no way verifies that Tepper told Canales to bench Young.    It certainly buttresses the idea that Canales would need permission to bench him but that is as far as you can take it.    After that it is pure speculation and it doesn’t make sense.
