Remember that we couldn’t beat this guy

and Jalen Hurts who was starting his 9th career NFL game.

The stammering was bizarre. I wonder if he is a stroke victim or something. The Panthers have a long standing tradition of spending heavily on defense, and then losing to bad QBs with dumb coaches. That's just Panthers football.

Sam will play better against the Giants because the Giants are terrible. Very likely we beat the Giants and that might one of our last few wins. Sam will continue to crap the bed against any average or good teams, and that will be it for Sam. No more Sam after this season. It will be Watson to replace him imo, and it will cost our 1st.

How do you know that will happen?    Can you provide the PowerBall Jackpot numbers, too?

I'm not holding my breath on Watson being here.

Or did you forget Houston's asking price for Watson?

It wasn't just ONE 1st rounder...it was THREE.

If Fitt did that and gave up 3 first-rounders, without addressing the O-Line first, he should be canned.  PERIOD.

SInce it's already clear Sam can't execute our offense, Fitterer might already be working on a deal for a different QB before the trade deadline is up next month. Otherwise we'll go hat in hand to Houston once trading resumes in March. Watson is the obvious QB for us and he's light years better than bottom tier Sam. It's not even close, and Houston is looking to move Watson.

Doubt it unless you want Blake Bortles as the new QB.   ('cause Cam's not coming back..Let's be serious here)

And again....as I said above :  3 1st rounders......Fitt is NOT going to do it and I will be shocked if he did.

How long have each been playing?I’ll take the 3:4 in 1/2 the time it took to get that 4:6…..

im just saying, TB never had that fire, that feeling like he could do it when it neededto be done.. Jake had it, Cam had it, although not always delivered, there was always a shot.. Teddy never gave that off, Sam does, as witnessed this past weekend. Played like ass all game, but drive down to tie it/OT.. Teddy wouldn’t/couldn’t have done that.. With SD, a big fix to a few things & we’ll be good, much more fixing was needed last go round…

it’s coming, don’t be so focused on what’s missing & not see what’s there….

It isn't half the time. Teddy has started 55 games, Darnold has started 44 games. Remember Teddy was out of the league for a while with that leg injury.

Also, I don't mean to be flippant but this drive that everyone was crowing about was a losing effort. That wasn't a game winning drive. Glad to see it but it would have made more of an impact if it wasn't preceded by 3+ quarters of shitting the bed.

If anything, it is a microcosm of his career. 75% awful and 25% great. It's why he has failed so miserably.

    • I fully expect them to pick up his 5th year , and they're waiting for him to put a full excellent consistent season of QB play in year 4 or 5. If that don't happen,  they'll eventually cut ties.  Here's to hoping he just goes on a team in 2026. The worst thing he could do is continue to see-saw us to around .500 records because it might be impossible to replace him at that point unless youre willing to do the veteran qb carousel poo we did from 2019 to 2023.
    • What do you think of Bryce Youngs career thus far? Are you excited about his progress or is it not enough for you? I included a poll of ranking his performance through 3 years thus far.  I personally think he's made some decent progress. Has had some high moments (last half of 2024, Rams game, ATL game in 2025)  but in my mind, those are still outweighed by the many more lowlights thus far (ex turnovers, missed throws, poor decisions)  It's a very mixed bag for me. He's done enough to get a 5th year option but by no means should we lock him in with a 50+ mil a year multi year deal. I want to see him play consistently well for a full year before that happens (yes, I'm still saying that going into year 4. That might be telling).  Just sucks when you see CJ Stroud, Jayden Daniel's, Caleb Williams almost immediately lighting poo up with their arm talent. Maybe Bryce is just an ultra slow burn. I don't know what to think anymore. Guess we're gonna be stuck with him for a whilr unless we end up being bad enough to earn a high pick next year. I doubted it lol. Overall Stats for his career:       ● 14 W - 30L (regular season)       ● 0-1 playoffs record        ● 61.4% completion, 8291 passing yards, 49 TDs, 30 INTs  Year 1:       ● 2 wins, 14 losses      ● 60% completion rate, 2877 passing yards, 11 TD to 10 INTs, 5.5 yards per attempted pass Year 2:        ● 4 wins , 8 losses        ● 60.9% completion rate,  2403 passing yards, 15 TD, 9 INTs,  6.3 yards per attempted pass  Year 3:        ● 8 Wins, 8 Losses         ● 63.6% competition rate, 3011 passing yards, 23 TDs to 11 INTs  Playoffs         ● 1 game in year 3 ( 0 - 1 in playoffs)         ● 21/40 (52.5% completion rate), 264 passing yards, 1 TD, 1 INT.
