Prediction : Joe Brady is a low scoring loss to Atlanta away from losing play calling responsibilities.

It's not even his fault. Sam is so bad he can't even take the layup plays. There's no way for Joe Brady's offense to work with ghost brains at the helm.

Even in the first 3 games when we were winning and Sam was doing well, Brady was making some real boneheaded decisions. Dang man, just look at our stats for the 3rd quarter. How we always come out and NEVER make adjustments. I mean, more than once we have had opponents defenders flat out say we ran the same stuff the whole game so they knew what to look for. So, no, Sam is not a valid excuse for Brady.

We’ve scored zero 3rd quarter points in 5 of the 7 games so far this year. That is very telling.

    • At this point, I think Chubba is the odd man out. I hate that, but I think Dowdle gives us more production and big play ability.  But there is still a lot of football to play.  I think it depends on how much Dowdle will want too.
    • I’ve been anti-trade when it comes to Melo, but the way this season has started, it may be time.  I love his game and he’s a cool dude, but I’m starting to think, if he’s your best player, you’re never going to win anything of significance.  Too many brain farts, too many injuries, and ultimately for as fun and entertaining as he is to watch - his game is indeed a thing of beauty - it just doesn’t translate to wins.  And that’s IF he even plays.  I think it’s time to cash out and maximize the return.  I love Melo, but I think it’s pretty clear what the ceiling is for a team where he is the best player.
    • Every NFL team, college program, hell even HS has numerous "what ifs" that got derailed by injury. It's a brutal sport and half the battle is just getting lucky enough to stay healthy. Doesn't matter how durable you are and how well you take care of your body everyone is one weird hit or awkward twist away from a career derailing injury.
