Game Atmosphere

Went to the game last night. 1st game ive been to since the Philly game.

I have to say that was my least favorite game ive been to at BoA. Everything about it was weird. I thought the atmosphere totally sucked. I felt no energy in that stadium, or even outside the stadium before the game.

I thought the game sucked as well.

I was totally expecting a jacked up crowd, and a jacked up panthers team and fully expected them to win convincingly.

Anyone else think the atmosphere sucked?

Can you blame people for having a hard time getting excited about watching limp d*ck football?

Panthers are teetering on the brink of being unwatchable at this point - they should be glad folks are even showing up. If (God help us all) DeAngelo Williams goes down this year, I would have a hard time convincing myself to even bother tuning in.

I sure as hell won't be buying another ticket until I see a better product on the field... that's called voting with your $$$

You know, i was expecting the crowd to be more into it, coming off that win last week. Panthers were very much in a playoff hunt last night.

I certainly wont be going back to another game until Jan 3rd.

Way too many Dolphins fans.

It's kind of ironic actually. When I was forced to live in Miami for 5 years prior to 2005, I went to 4-5 Dolphin games a year because it was football. Dolphins stadium always had a ton of away fans like BofA does. I still don't get why somebody from Columbia, SC would stick with the Dolphins and not become a Panther fan when we finally got a team here. I guess some people are just idiots.

From my section, 139, we were always standing up on defense, and the end of the third to the start of the forth quarter, it seems like the stadium was rocking there for a bit when we went scored that t.d. and 2 point conversion.

despite the loss, me and my crew had a damn good time last night, even though we did not get back to winston until 2:30 am and had to get up and go to work. call me crazy, but i would do it all over again. we even stood up about the whole game, and no one told us to sit the fug down....pretty amazing.

    • Another layer to that is Ive seen Seattle has been in the market for CB help this off-season.   Michael had a higher PFF grade than Horn who got 15 games this season. He wants to be here too, that's a huge bonus for any 5 win team that had awful pass rush.  The 7th rounder Michael Barrett didn't last long on Seattle, he was cut before the season I think and ended up on browns PS. He's already been on 5.......5 teams within one year.......
    • You have gave the board some recent gold via posting. Heres my poor attempt at the truthful play-by-play of the time during post- I pulled out the old laptop to do my shitposting and check on websites. Open the huddle and see this new thread. Open thread and read CRAs post, {inner thinking, oooOOooo this is my lane and I got this}. Make sure not to scroll even to the 2nd post. 23% of current neurons still firing start up and two names appear- Captain and Josh....... about another 43 seconds past "O GOD" it's July 4th weekend and I got medicine to pick up. (If the laptop didn't give away my aging, the meds should...) I need to split, think long panther careers and the hint-  Ryan Kalil was a late 2nd and Pro bowls(even all-pros too) he's got to be OLman and Mikie Minter is among the all-time Panthers career leaders. Drop my post. Scramble to get keys, wallet, and phone. Check my phone- its 17% battery.....fug I now have to raw dog the pickup line and put the phone on charge.... Flip flops, sweat ringed filled hat, and shades acquired. Get in my pos rav4 and think about not running the A/C. Pull out the drive way and reach the 1st stop light, A/C is wide open. I check my shirt to see if there's any new stains on my house shirt, bush off the Bojangles salt that I see.... Neurons re-fire and focus on the comments CRA made that no one would get this....... Dang IT, that means it isn't Ryan Kalil or Mike Minter! CVS is close, but I know its impossible I get back withing 10 minutes to change my post and my phone is on the charger. {Think you monkey, at one point you were a draft nerd}. Reach the CVS line, by some grace its not 5 cars deep during 5 o'clock traffic hell. Im second in line after the car in front of me both turn in, they have to go back and forth to line up while Im a pro for that geometry. Neurons finally reach peak performance as Ive re-thought draft classes. Think obscure and unknown 7th rounders with long careers. Some Sunday/Monday night member berry fell out of my Melon, Will montgomery during the players intros for washington. I thought he out of the league and was shocked to see him still playing around the 2015 years. I do a goggle background check and that refreshed memory. Pick up the meds and enjoy the sweet smelling cool CVS air. Driving back and check in on one of the local bums at the big stop light, wow he's got a new fancy rug. Think about all the old food I got and need to start giving it away and rethink it. Reach home and post a follow up and I know Minter is wrong too, I check the draft history and see Robert Mcclain. Too late, but that would have been my guess....open CRAs link and get "upset" at the DBs name.
    • THANKS my guy! Keeping up with this threads theme, if I view a thread and there's only 20 posts and some time passes. If I see there's one new post and read the name; @Dave Gettleman's Shortsis among the chosen few that I will reopen that thread just to see what you posted.    Thanks again, plus not just a scout, thats scotty mccloughans son?!?!? If not for the deep claws of booze, scotty is among the best talent finders this league has recently had. Last I heard he ran a consulting business. Caden could be one of those who's on a early path to being a GM in the future. I was a big fan of his dad, dam shame about booze demon ruining his career.
