3 different Emotions after 3 different Losses..

So I was smart and decided to go to the pumpkin patch with the family on the Sunday we played the Giants. I checked in on the game routinely and was able to chuckle in disbelief at what was going on - but my mental health was spared for an afternoon and I was truly able to enjoy my weekend. Needless to say, after that loss - I had the team written off and it was freeing. I wasn't depressed or really upset - I was completely comfortable and I knew I would not put another ounce of emotion into the team. For all intents and purposes, we were gearing up for the draft at that point.
NYG loss = Apathy

But somehow our .500 record and a win against a terrible Atlanta team kept a glimmer of hope alive inside me somewhere. I foolishly went into the game against the Pats thinking Darnold just might be able to game-manage us into a win if our defense played well. Looking back - I'm sure if I my eyes witnessed the Giants game - I would have known Darnold was reliable as a wet cardboard box... After the Pats game - I probably was feeling like a lot of you: my mouth agape while staring back at the wake of sh!t streaks this staff had just dragged across the living room carpet. Releasing Cam, signing Teddy, trading for Darnold, picking up his 5th year option, and so on.. My emotions were at an all-time low with this team.. However, I was not hurting.. I was angry and upset but there was no real pain. I was clear in my convictions of the staff and decision makers from top to bottom.
NE loss = Anger

Fast forward to signing Cam. I had off work for Veterans Day and was running errands and hadn't heard that we were toying with bringing him in - I just got the news right as we signed him. I don't believe I have felt that much joy in quite some time. To then back that up with the win in ARZ and the way it all went down. Then to have the buildup for a homecoming of a lifetime.. but walk out with a "L" is just.. The feelings are very raw and it hurts 100x more than the other 2 weeks.. I went on a walk after the game and tried to process it all.. Putting so much stock into something I have ZERO control over.. It seems so silly but I'm sure a lot of ya'll can relate..
WFT loss = Hurt

Anyways - I'm just venting and thought how weird it was after 3 losses from the same team to have such a vast difference in emotions afterwards.. Some huddlers might feel inclined to call me a b!tch or to "suck it up - it's just a game" = I hear you 100%.. noted.. I just wanted to get this out and move onto Miami..

After we lost 3 in a row my emotions went right back to where they were last year. Anger and disbelief. After each loss I think to my self. The coaches must watch the tape. It’s blatantly obvious what our issues are and yet every loss is the same fuging thing.

We are coming up on 2 years with this staff and none of them have adjusted or fixed any of their glaring issues.

For me, Giants hurt, NE was pure apathy, and this WFT was the most infuriating loss I can remember in years because it set our team back 2 years.  good bye fans.  why the fug would fans go to the stadium, spend hundreds of dollars just to be pissed off and embarrassed by a guy who should be sackin groceries and a retread shithead ex coach whos only descernable talent is to ruin everyone in the carolinas days even when he no longer is here.  want to kill any momentum we had, well Matt rhule and that pathetic and worthless defensive showing just did it.  Prepared for our stadium to be over run by any and every visiting fanbase for the next few years.
