Well, in that regard we are like most other NFL fans. Well except for Detroit fans, because they suck consistently. :)

There are a few consistenly good teams right now, and one or two that are consistently bad. Everyone else is up and down. Thats the nature of the salary cap. Of courst, thats vastly preferable to the way it use to be when 1 or 2 teams dominated for 10 years or so.

Up and down! Off season, pre season, post season, even during the game! But this is in no way fun! Why do they torture us like this?

I agree.

Yes - Being a fan means having the up and downs, but the Panthers push it to the extreme. One week they look like they could beat anyone and the next week they look like they couldn't beat anyone.:confused:

This is why I was so stunned that many people here thought we were actually going to have a winning season this year during the offseason. This team is so up and down mainly due to their inconsistent HC. How can anyone really think we would do better than 7-9?

Not disputing you, but exactly how does the HC show his inconsistency?

      Predictions from the Observer writers  i am sad   I wish the Panthers had one, just one, game changing hero on their roster …one player that isnt ok with losing …there aren't any Steves,, Lukes,  Cams, Thomas’ on this roster    When  a team has a roster and there isn't one jersey that sells, there arent any heroes if there are, today is a good day to show up   From the Oberser  Fowler: Packers 30, Panthers 20. Carolina will hang around for a while for this one, but the Packers — a legitimate Super Bowl threat — have just too much firepower. Kaye: Packers 31, Panthers 20. Green Bay feels like one of the true Super Bowl contenders in the NFC. The Packers’ offense is dynamic and the defense continues to improve. With a banged up O-line and an unpredictable defense, I’m not sure it matters who is at QB for the Panthers on Sunday. The Packers should win at home in convincing fashion. Zietlow: Packers 35, Panthers 28. I predicted last week that the Bills would win in lopsided fashion. They were coming off a two-game losing streak followed by a bye. The Panthers, conversely, were due for a regression after three great weeks. This week, after refocusing, I think the Panthers will put up a strong performance. I also think Rico Dowdle will get the majority of the carries and that the defense will play much better against the run. The Packers will still win, but the Panthers will leave Lambeau with their heads held high.
