He’s probably closer to 6’1” or 6’2”, he’s definitely on the smaller side.

I asked Walt Ruff on Twitter if he could help solve the mystery. He responded that he will look into it and see what he can find out. It makes sense that he would be listed larger in pre-draft reports since he is from Russia.

I definitely don’t think he’s taller than 6’3”, I’ve watched a few of the Wolves games and he looks smaller than that. I also don’t think he’s 6’0” though, maybe without skates?

I don’t think they’ll call up Kochetkov unless there is an injury but I’d love to see him get a chance to take one of the spots next year. Hopefully Kochetkov and Drury are full timers next year.

Conspiracy brain but I think RBA is looking for his Cam.

I agree they probably don't call him up this year. I really don't think they neeed to. As long as Rants can be serviceable down the stretch.

Would bringing him up be out of the question after we clinched the Division for a game or two? Would think not, right?

Another win last night for Kochetkov and he also tried to fight.

He is now 9-0-1 with a .935 save % and a 1.80 GAA, he also has one

He's legit...young has fire. Bring em up! Canes might not have a choice after a few more like this.

    • If there isn't even incremental progression over the course of this season, much less next season, I am just not sure how you roll with him in year 5. But, $30 mil(est) is not an insignificant amount albeit fairly modest by elite QB price tag standards. The biggest issue with all this, as someone astutely pointed out in the thread previously, is that we have to make that 5th year decision this coming offseason.  So if we get the projected season he is on track for(3250 yds passing, 165 yds rushing, 31 total TD's, 22 total TO's). Is that gonna be enough to satisfy everyone he is on the rise? Let's say that we even finish within spitting distance of .500?
    • Tepper still thinks Bryce can grow into another Tom Brady. You can't make this sh#t up. In other words, the remaining Bryce fanboys have as much football acumen as Tepper. You're judged by the company you keep.
    • No, I mean even that comparison this far in is kind of insulting to LaFell. He was just a better overall player at this point in their careers.  The thing thaf is concerning is that he appears to not be struggling with a 1st or 2nd round WR typical issues, he seems to be struggling with an undrafted free agent or practice squad player level issues. How to even become an NFL caliber player and how to raise your play to the level to be on an NFL roster.  It's the simplest stuff that he isn't seemingly capable of doing.
