Yes, but I have literally been dogging these VERY two players for taking up a 53 man roster spot and not contributing much at all.   It's like Rhule can read my mind, but in complete contradiction.  I think these guys are a complete waste of a roster spot and Rhule thinks....EXTEND THEM!!!!

You just have to let some people remain ignorant...

Haynes was a good signing as depth, 2yr / 2M is peanuts all things considered, when you look at his production over play time (aka spot duty) it is easy to see the value as a rotational rusher on passing downs. 

2021 - 3 sacks

2020 - 4 sacks

No reason to be upset about retaining a guy that can give you ''something'' off the bench and for cheap.

      Lions were never going Freeling over Miller for the same reason we wouldn't have taken Miller had Freeling not been on the board. Miller is a career RT Lions have a hole at RT, we have a hole at LT. If we took Miller, it would have been for him to backup Moton until he retires and/or we release him, so the best case scenario is it would have been a wasted 1st round pick for at least 1, if not 2 years.  At least Freeling has a shot at playing this year without injury ahead of him, he absolutely can win the LT job if he earns it, but Miller would have never supplanted Moton this year unless he got hurt.

      What up y’all. I like threads like this where we can stroll down memory lane. I remember the insane amount of site traffic pre-crash when we signed Keyshawn Johnson, 06 I believe. Raging about the Cowboys Christmas Eve loss in 05 (Peppers touched that FG attempt as sure as Cotchery caught it). When I found the huddle I basically had a first born baby, now I’ve got one in college and one in high school. Life comes at you fast, but the Panthers and the Huddle has been a steady constant in my life for many years.  Those who have been here, y’all are cool with me any time any where.    Cheers, genitals!

      This is a weird post since it wasn’t like we got A’s across the board. We needed a QB and got a consensus top 2 player at that position. (I was pretty vocal that Stroud should’ve been the guy but…)  I think this draft we generally got better value. I’m not particularly optimistic on BY but another year in this offense playing with TMac he really needs to be a consistently average QB at a minimum
