The Road to 10-6....

5-6- The Jets. The Jets suck, and has anyone noticed that since the 0-3 start, we play better on the Road. Run the ball, and we in..simple.

6-6- This game scares me more than the Jet game...Why can't we beat bad teams at home?..The thing is, the Bucs aren't just bad, they are GARbage bad, and even if it isn't pretty, we should win this

7-6. At New England....we really just have to get lucky in order to win, but keep in mind we played dam well in New Orleans...If Fox can get the dam half time adjustments right..you never really know..

8-6. ...I'm going to use the same logic I use for the Pats. We played really well against the Saints...

9-6. The GGGGGG men just got blow out by the Broncos..enough said..

10-6. Pray for the Saints to have a L by then, because they will be resting starters..

Stay Positive my friends, and Roll Tide!

To be honest, I'd rather just go 7-9, fire Fox, bring in Cowher and new QB

Than go 10-6 not have a deep playoff run and be stuck w/ Fox and Jake for years to come.

At least you want two wins the rest of the way. Have you decided which opponents to root for yet?

I'm hoping for 10-6. And I'll be pulling for the Panthers to win every single game they play.

We suck too though. They run the ball just as well, so it's anyone's game. It's that simple.

Should win, you are correct but they Bucs are slowly getting better and we've yet to face their rookie QB. I agree though, this game scares me more than the Jets.

Had we won the Dolphins game, then this week and next, I would've thought this would be the perfect week for the huge upset. Now, however, I just don't think the team has it in them anymore. The injuries have bummed them out, the loss to the Dolphins bummed them out too, but we'll see their frame of mind if we win the next two. We CAN beat the Pats.

8-6. ...I'm going to use the same logic I use for the Pats. We played really well against the Saints...

It's at home, in Prime Time, which is good, but as much as it pains me to admit it, Favre is looking unstoppable this season. I don't think we have a shot.

9-6. The GGGGGG men just got blow out by the Broncos..enough said..

Definitely winnable.

10-6. Pray for the Saints to have a L by then, because they will be resting starters..

I disagree. I want them to go for a perfect season because I want to be their LAST roadblock to doing so...us, a team that knows how to beat them and a team that should've beat them last time. If the Saints win at home on Monday against the Pats, then in Dallas, their hardest game will be here. No matter what our record, if they're going for 16-0...the joint will be rockin' and the team will step it up.

Stay Positive my friends, and go Auburn!

In all seriousness, here is how I see it panning out.

@ NY Jets- WIN

vs. TB Bucaneers- WIN

@ NE Patriots- LOSS

vs. Minnesota Vikings- LOSS

@ NY Giants- WIN

vs. NO Saints- WIN

We finish 8-8 or .500

8-8? LOL

This team will go 5-11, 6-10 if a miracle happens. We will lose one possible loss and win one.

This is a realistic view:

Jets (possible loss)

Buccs (win)

Pats (loss)

Vikings (loss)

Giants (possible loss)

Saints (loss)

It's like when my girlfriend keeps bugging me when we are ahead, like the Saints game...it's not the score that matters, you can spot right away if the players want to win. If you can't win at home, prime time on Thursday with the next 10 days off, your not beating the Vikings or pats or saints given your not playing their second team.

And this team does not want it, not enough, as individual players or as a team, injuries or not. They have a dud QB who is more concerned about not throwing INT instead of making plays, and he even sucks at that. It's not their record that tells me they are not going to even out, its they way they play.

You want to stay positive, fine but stay realistic, go buy some Bucc tickets and enjoy our last home win and one of maybe two of our last wins of the season period. All we can do is hope changes are made and we get lucky in the draft, since thats all f**ked to poo now too.

    • Tanking in the NFL isn’t really a thing and anybody wanting to bring the rigged lottery to the NFL has an ulterior motive.
    • I understand where you're coming from, but we need another safety IMHO. Other positions, especially on defense, dont have ideal depth, but to me at least S is the one position we can't stand pat at even when thinking about the future
    • 100%. Nick Scott was awful last year. Like, even for a franchise that hasn't historically invested in that position, it stood out for how awful it was. If he sees meaningful snaps at S again we're cooked.  Maybe he has value for ST, but I certainly hope we can upgrade. Jordan Fuller, who was by all accounts an Evero guy, was almost as bad. Xavier Woods was bad, but not complete garbage. Still did not want him back. Those 3 guys seriously may have been the worst S group in the NFL. And they all were brought in, especially Fuller, as good fits for this system. Everyone knocks the defensive line, and they deserve a lot of blame, too, but so, so many times our safeties inability to tackle let 4-5 yard runs turn into 10+. And it happened over and over and over again if you watch the film. Honestly, Demani Richardson was the only S by the end of the year I remember making positive plays. I have no issue with Richardson being in the mix and/or competing to be a starter, but we still need another S desperately IMHO who has actually played meaningful snaps in the NFL. The only caveat/excuse for our secondary was the fact our pass rush was nonexistent for large stretches last year. Maybe that helps with coverage, but I dont see how that makes any of these guys better at tackling.  I know it somewhat feels like piling on at this point, but I feel 100% confident in saying this was the worst tackling team in franchise history. The 70ish yard pass play we gave up to Jamarr Chase where he ran through and past everyone in the secondary has to be up there in terms of most embarrassing plays I've ever seen. I can't imagine how embarrassed Kuechly must have been watching from the booth... I think bringing back Evero was a mistake, but for a team that has had nothing but change over the past 5 years, I'm willing to see this through. I definitely think we added significantly to the floor of this defense with the additions we made. I dont think Evero has any further excuses if he cant field a unit that can at least somewhat hold their own. Fixing the safety play is going to be a big part of that.
