Hope BK can steal one tonight. Almost had the win in game 1. Where in Mississippi did you live, Aggie? I lived in Jackson for 6 years.

I think BK will get tonight’s game. Durant will have a better game.

I lived in Biloxi; well, a small town outside of Biloxi. Never really been to Jackson. Never really been North of Hattiesburg.

When I was in 7th grade our choir had a competition in Biloxi. That was before the days of water casinos I think. There was nothing in Jackson. One AA baseball team ... and yep. That's it. I did go to school with Othella Harrington though. God bball player who went on to star at Georgetown before floppingin the NBA.

Meanwhile checking in on the Nets...

Yeah, brutal. Just goes to show how chemistry can actually beat Super Teams (see: Lakers). Kyrie not playing half the time and KD being out for so long hurt just killed the Nets this year. Plus, KD is not clutch at ALL. Great player, elite. But they keep giving him the ball as time expires and he misses ... every time. I'd much rather them just have one star and the rest a solid squad of good players and I'm ok with that one star being Kyrie. KD can go choke somewhere else.

That said, the Celts are going to the Finals.

KD is washed and not clutch but Kyrie is still a cornerstone star? That’s some take ya got there. Good luck with that. But I do agree the Celtics look Finals bound. Though the Bucks should have something to say about that.

KD is not washed. Didn't say that. Dude is elite, but folds when given the big shot. Last year, playoffs, chance to win it ... brick. Multiple times this season ... shot needed ... brick. He has no killer instinct. We've ALL been spoiled by the likes of MJ and Kobe. They got it done. Killers. KD ... meh. Thanks for the 30 ppg and all but come on man ... can I see some fire? It's like he's high 24/7 out there. Kyrie is just as good as KD IMHO. He's a headcase though. From a flat world to not getting his COVID shot ... dude is one of a kind. KD missed 6 weeks this season, Harris played only 14 games, we got rid of The Beard for Simmons ... who didn't even play one minute, and Kyrie couldn't play home games until the very end. Messed up season for sure.

Also, Steve Nash has NO business being a coach.

Does Nash even have any designed plays he uses? When I’m watching, it’s normally KD or Kyrie playing iso.

From what I understand, Kyrie and KD don’t want a real coach over there, but it would do them some wonders.

    • Why do we always let our good players go ?   CMC was injured and we let him go . Now we face him Monday night .  We know what Chuba can do . We know what Rico can do .  We signed Chuba so why not sign Rico .   we don't know what we have in Brooks ,  Let him and Eteine go at it in camp . Keep the better player .  Don't let your proven players leave .
    • Oh, I get it. I called him Peewee for the first couple of years. He is too small to be an NFL QB. It wasn't as much of a problem in college, even in the SEC, because every player in the NFL is the size and speed of the biggest 22 on your entire college team.  I was left scratching my head over the pick and what we traded to get him (and yes, that cost analysis is unavoidable). Now we're sunk into the third season and the kid just popped a frikkin' amazing game out there where he showed every mark of what you need in a top end QB. Great passing, mobility, guts, toughness (that ankle must have been killing him) and the ability to put a team on his back to claw back a win. He didn't win it with his arm so much as by getting the ball to the right people at the right time, but that is what the best do. Do I believe he's going to be our QB of the future here? I'm still out on that. Way out on that. But I'm at least intrigued. Can he replicate what he did or even get close? Can he perform well against the power opponents we have left on the schedule? Heck, can he even beat New Orleans this season?  Right now, my personal feeling is that he'd make a heck of a back-up QB. He could prove me wrong and excel, though. Maddening as it is, that'd be the best outcome ever. Or he could have just hit his peak. And that would be bittersweet because then we start the whole thing over again. I don't see a reclaimation project QB out there right now that Canales can work his magic on.
