I think all of this says a lot more about you than it does about me or their site. You’re like actively trying to be an ass for no reason.

edit: adding lol so you know how seriously I don’t take your posts to seem cool.

Okay cool.. Now are we done?? Can I go on not respecting Walter's football and still living my life??

It's crazy to try and force your opinion on a "opinion" forum made for ppl with different opinions..

I know it's crazy to not all agree on the same poo...

Honestly Vark, I dont have a clue who the panthers will pick. Id dis-service myself to even guess.....but if I had to...i need two pure guesses- Cross and Thibodeaux.

No dice on betting that tho.......at the beginning I had a super off-wall bet in thinking 16 OL would be drafted in the first round......but I came out of that far-out hole. I tried to get LG to bet on his lover Howell, but he wouldnt even entrained that.

I’d bet on Howell. You want to do it based on round or if it’s us vs another team? What was your bet to him?

If teams weren’t so desperate that seems like how it should be this year.

I think that we may find out teams aren't  desperate enough to take these guys in the first. TBD.

If that is the case, the league said what some here refuse to believe, this is a bad QB class.

I will bet with you on Howell. My original bet offered(to LG) was Howell versus the field. We can discuss metrics and timeline but I am willing to wager a substantial amount.

It would be pretty funny to see only 1 QB go in the 1st.

I keep dancing around 3 or 4 or 2....I do think Willis is the only true QB lock to go in the first. I would bet on corral, ridder, or pickett or against them...that late 1st gets crazy....2 QBs may be the 31 and 32 picks....lions are a team I feel will try to trade up for one...but honestly no idea.

You'd like it. Too fair honest.

Terms -

Howell gets drafted 1-29 you win.

30 is a push

31-____ Basbear wins.

    • There's really two parts to this question.   1) What does Bryce have to do to prove that he was worthy of the 1st overall pick (and the Panthers trade up to acquire said pick) and be seen as the franchise QB/face of the organization for the foreseeable future?  2) What does Bryce have to do to be a serviceable starter past this season and allow the team to be in a position of not being desperate in their next try at acquiring a franchise QB? I don't think Bryce is capable of ever living up to the expectation of the 1st overall pick and being a franchise QB.  His physical limitations will not allow him to ever be that QB.   He could, however, show enough to be a placeholder.  Not what you want out of this deal but it's better than him being released at the end of the season.  Minimum of 6-8 wins with him showing he can lead the offense (scoring around 17-24 points per game on offense) and make plays when it matters especially as the end of the season nears.  It will also show that Morgan is capable of assembling a competitive roster and Caneles is capable of installing a modern NFL offense.   Then you wait and draft/sign/trade for a franchise QB when the situation is to your best advantage.  This is how the Chiefs got Mahomes, the Eagles got Hurts, the Ravens got Jackson and the Packers got both Rodgers and Love.  Or we luck into it like the Patriots did with Brady and the 49er's did with Purdy.
    • The only reason---which is a significant reason---that Penny is not miles (no pun intended) ahead of Sanders is due to health. Availability is the best ability in this case. When Penny is able to play, he has been the better back. His career averages in both running and receiving are markedly better, and Miles has arguably been playing behind a better line.
    • That being said, when was the last time you saw Freddie spending more time sprawled on the ice versus keeping his feet? Playoff Freddie is not the same goalie who played exceptionally well since coming back from his medical issue. We're seeing someone other than regular season Freddie and I'm not impressed, especially the last 3-4 games.
