Tom Brady is the BEST

OK, hear me out on this:

As we come to the close of a decade, is there any doubt who the greatest QB of this era is? Thomas Edward Patrick Brady.

Brady is the real deal. He's like a LeBron or a Pujols, a superstar who actually lives up to the hype. He's the chosen one in a league full of pretenders. He's everything the NFL culture says a "golden boy" QB is and should be. He's tough, he has tremendous pocket presence, he can make the intermediate throws, he can get the ball downfield to his stud. He's also not afraid to scramble for 10 yards to get a 1st down if he has to. Off the field, he's charming, good looking, and is a star in front of the cameras. He has that posterboy image of a Bogart or Gable. And on top of all that, HE WINS!!!

Brady has 3 rings, not 1 like some other great QBs, proving he aint no fluke. He holds records for the most TDs in a quarter (set this season) and the most TDs in a season (set 2 years ago). I think of all the QBs Ive seen over my lifetime, so many have been sold as the next this, the next that only to fizzle out of the league. So many pretenders and neverbeens. Brady is that one guy that I've seen that has that "it" where you cant doubt him in any game he plays in. You have to assume he's gonna win. He's that great. Yall know I love black QBs, and I defend the good ones alot, but real talk, if my son told me he wanted to be an NFL QB, I wouldnt tell him to be Warren Moon or McNair, Id tell him to be Brady. Thats how much I respect him as an athlete and leader.

Thats also why Im calling it right now at 12:27 PM on Saturday. Brady will go into New Orleans on Monday night and do what no other QB has done this season. He will show the people of Louisiana he is the best QB on the field. He will get the best of Sharper and the Saints defense and find the end zone multiple times Monday night. He will show the World that even in a Saints miracle year, the Pats are a class above them. Huddlers, Carolinians, lurkers, countrymen, put up your mortgage, your kids trust fund, and that 42 dollars in your wallet for the Patriots Monday night. Its money in the bank. You heard it here first. If Im wrong, I will gladly eat my crow.

I respect what you are saying KT.

Brady does seem to be the best in the biz right now. It does concern me that he does not seem to do all that well without Welker, but other than that he is tops.

I don't like him off the field all that much, and would not pick him out of any NFL player to build a team around, but that's just me being me.

P. Manning.

Manning 1 is playing at the highest level right now in the NFL. However when things aren't going his way, he does have a tendency to throw some teammates under the bus.

Other than that occasional misstep by Manning, I think that he is probably the best all around QB in the league in the regular season.

The rings thing is irrelevant imo. Teams win championships, not individuals. The reason Brady won more championships than Manning is that he was on a team with a better defense. Manning and Brady are to even to really see much of a difference.

Yep. Brady is one of the best without a doubt, but P.Manning is better. It's stupid for some to think just because Brady won more SB rings than P.Manning he is automically better, when that is not true. That like saying Brad Johnson is better than Dan Marino with how he won a SB ring & Marino never did despite being a better QB than Johnson. I bet if Manning was with Patriots instead of Brady, he would have won more than 1 ring.

Brady is the best.

He is the best at getting a hot chick pregnant, breaking up with her, going out with and impregnanting another chick that is just as overrated as he is.

(Gisele ain't all that hot, Brady ain't the best ever, and Bridget Moynahan is hotter than Gisele IMO.)

P. Manning is the best QB though.

    • Love the Freeling pick even more after watching his pressers. Dude is sharp and definitely seems to have the right mentality. I loved hearing how personal he took having a bad game with a torn labrum and instead of seeing that as the reason for his bad game and not changing anything, it motivated him to work even harder. Such a great pick, we finally got our all pro level LT for the next decade and now we can move Ickey to RT or guard with no hurt feelings due to his injury. Second favorite pick is probably Brazzell. He said he false started on his 40 and it cost him probably 0.04 seconds, so he’s more of a 4.33 guy rather than 4.37. Really Randy Moss lite. I didn’t know anything about him prior to drafting him and first highlight reel I saw of him I immediately thought he looked like Moss. Then I saw the measurables and was like yep. Then I see that he’s drawn that comparison by many scouts and analysts. If he can add consistency and play to the level of his highlights every play then we got an incredible value.
    • During his three years at UGA he only allowed 5 sacks. He is only 21 and is on an upward trajectory. He's a great athlete that was good basketball player in high-school.  His height (76% how is this only 76%???? these guys are giants now), hands (81%), span (99%), speed (96%), quickness (10 yd. 86%), and explosiveness (vert. 96%, broad 97%) are all outstanding.  When we took Freeling, Fano, Mauioga, Proctor, and Miller were all off the board so we could have drafted Iheanachor or Lomu instead or waited to the second or third round to take Bell, Tiernan or Barber or wait even longer.  A lot of these tackles (including the first two taken) project to right tackle or guard in the NFL and that's not what we needed now.  Freeling has some sloppiness to clean up in his run blocking, but he's young and getting better.  We can let him get experience behind Walker and Moton knowing if he has to replace one of the two this year, his pass blocking won't get Bryce killed. Icky's not coming back from that injury as a nfl starting left tackle and Moton is in the twilight of his career.  If Walker has a great year, we will have to pay him a lot and if he is medicore we would want to let him walk.  Getting a LT on a rookie contract is going to help a lot with the cap.
    • It was cool but they have done this at least in recent years unless I am imagining it
