It’s not necessarily our game but I still think our best chances to score will come off the rush. That’s really where Pittsburgh made hay against New York.

New York is pretty lazy in transition.

While I got a break in preparing dinner, loved listen to NHL radio earlier when they were like… nah there aren’t any super stars on the canes outside of Aho. BUT every team would take our defense over their own. Take it as you will.

Poorly played rush attempts are also what made Pittsburgh give up a 3-1 series lead....

Defense is only going to get better with Morrow waiting in the wings, I’m not saying he’s Makar but I wouldn’t be totally shocked if he was.

Playoff hockey will tell you that having one "superstar" isn't a bad thing when every guy you ice is a "good" or "Very Good" NHLer.

Maybe, but after Domingues initial magic he was pretty bad. Goaltending ultimately did them in.

As that period went on it looked more and more like the 3rd from Wednesday. We simply just wear teams down. I like us to get 1 early to start the 2nd.

Not sure of the hockey lingo!! I am learning.. being able to see Hurricanes regular season games is impossible in Virginia !! Been watching since game 1 of Bruins series.. liking the energy tonight for Carolina.. think we score 2 next period

If you're out of market and want to watch Canes games next season it's actually easier if you aren't in the market they are all on Hulu/Espn+ way cheaper. Feel free to ask on any lingo! It took me a few years to learn it lol.
