I'll take Charlie as an OC. He may have struggled as a HC with a ND team that was already struggling before him, but I think he'll do just fine as an OC in the NFL again.

I'm not sure why everyone here wants Davidson gone. He is a fine OC, he just has no passing game whatsoever to work with. When Jake throws, Davidson is faulted for letting him throw the ball and turn it over. When Jake doesn't throw, Davidson is faulted for making us one-dimensional. If you guys can't see that Davidson is completely handcuffed by Fox's decision to keep Jake the starter, then you must be blind.

that's not completely true. his play calling has been suspect in the past and was at times ultra conservative even last season.

i do think the majority of the problem is jake's poor decisions and accuracy but davidson isn't anything near spetacular. IMHO he hasn't been impressive. he has no vision and calls plays with blinders on. i imagine his play book much have about 12 pages in it.

It was reported that Weis has already recieved calls from roughly six NFL teams about a job as an OC. I would be surprised if Carolina was one of them, probably pleasantly so.

Seems pretty silly to say a team is "interested" in somebody to be a coordinator when they have no clue who the head coach will be by next year!
