I can't find anything else other than a bleacher report story referencing it was an audible but with no source.

Coaches took the blame and afaik nobody every said any different.

Well... I've tried digging around for anything legitimate and I can't find it. The only sources I've found have pointed to a tweet by an NFL parody account with a faked quote from an ESPN article (the article is real but it does not contain ANYTHING like the quote).

There's LOTS of sources that say that there was no audible, not just the coaches, but also Marshawn (and even years later, e.g. https://ca.finance.yahoo.com/news/marshawn-lynch-wonders-russell-wilson-audibled-infamous-super-bowl-int-174851487.html)

If reliable sources exist, maybe Mr Scot can point them out.  I'm skeptical there's anything reliable.

      Yes we are weak at 2C,  I wouldnt say C overall just we have Aho and then 3 guys who should be third Cs.....   If we dont aquire someone I suspect we will finally see Jarvis at center this year.   I see what you mean with Freddie, and I agree to an extent I think we should limit his regular season starts and focus on keeping him healthy for the playoffs.    He has been very good in the post season contrary to what some casuals think we DID not lose because of Freddie....  2.02 GAA and a .907 %  We lost to florida because our small offensive D men couldn't keep the Panthers from parking right in front of him.

      In theory that would be nice, but i can almost guarantee you no one who will be an upgrade will be available.... much less a "stud"  This is a list of goalies who are free agents in 2026 aka possibly be sold at the deadline..... the only one I see that might help us is a retread in Ned.... (honestly should have never gotten rid of him hes performed admirably in much worse situations since leaving).
