At this point, it seems highly unlikely the Panthers will have a shot at moving to where they can grab Stroud or Young. With the non-QB needing teams who want to trade also likely to more enamored by one of the top defensive prospects, teams ahead will likely get either Young or Stroud before the Panthers have a shot.

Resultingly, that leaves the likes of Anthony Richardson and Will Levis.

With the Combine underway, the hype for Richardson should soar if past history should repeat itself. His athletic potential will be off the charts, and once his film is dissected, may be more favorable to be one of top eight QBs picked.

With Richardson and Levis most likely within firing range, I figured I'd search around for any film evaluation on him.

Ian Wharton does the job again, dissecting all of Richardson's games from last year. He has a different, more optimistic outlook on Richardson, in which he may be more pro-ready and fixable early than thought. His highs, obviously, are tops in the league, and the prevailing question is whether he can put it together early.

Similarly to Cam Newton, seems Richardson may have a bit of misconceptions about his game. He is a better passer than given credit for, and seems a lot of issues stemmed from Florida's more QB-less friendly scheme and bad luck.

Sure, he has work to do with mechanics and high throws. That has been highlighted, but he also shows a lot of good too - more than most would think.

Overall, these seem to be Ian's thoughts and I certainly think he brings forth a good perspective. Feel free to grant your own opinion too and look through this thread, it's full of great stuff.

If the Panthers do not get Stroud or Young, I certainly wouldn't mind Richardson. Funnily enough, I'd be content with any of the top 4 QBs, as I feel all have great potential to be the future. With the Panthers coaching staff and direction, any QB chosen will have a great situation to grow and improve, and despite Richardson's raw attributes, everything appears coachable and I'd say potentially ready by day one.

      Idk man, I think it’s necessary.  There’s people working 9-5s everyday that get told poo about what they aren’t and what they’re not capable of and they’re working for scraps.  These guys are making millions.  People are watching and invested because their team and fandom is a part of their identity and a big source of pride.  When someone like Bryce comes in and is given chance after chance after chance after proving he is not worthy of the position he’s being gifted, and he continues to be the biggest reason above any that we are losing, yeah…  I think it’s fair to call a spade a spade.  Am I saying Bryce the person is trash?  Bryce the person is a piece of poo?  Absolutely not.     I came up in an era, especially in basketball, where if you were fuging up people heckled the poo out of you.  I played in rec leagues as a teen where the fuging parents were calling kids trash and yelling poo like “TURNOVER!!!  TURNOVER!!!”  “CANT DRIBBLE!”  “CANT SHOOT!”  And that’s adults screaming that poo to kids like we were in the fuging Rucker lol.🤣🤣🤣  I went on to play basketball at a collegiate level and with professional players in different settings.  What those experiences as a kid taught me was to see if there is any merit to what people are saying, and if there is, then work my ass off til they can’t say that anymore.  Come back better, tougher, harder.  And I did.  If kids can figure that poo out, an adult calling another adult who is bad at his job while making millions and millions of dollars will be just fine.

      I have tried to like this team, lord knows I have tried. BY9 is a nice young man, if I had a daughter he can take her to prom, but he ain't QB1 and he's not Cam or Delhomme Chuba is a average RB, he isn't Stephen Davis, he isn't J-Stew McMillan has the makings of a good WR, but he isn't 89/Moose D. Brown is a great player, but if the game was on the line I want Kris Jenkins       I miss this brand of football, even in the bad Jake games the games were entertaining It has been nearly 8 years now of watching numb football

      I'm not so sure. Something about the whole Frank/Bryce situation seemed off from day 1. Bryce didn't fit Frank's QB mold as well as Stroud, then he basically gives up when Bryce is named starter in preseason but gets virtually no reps in games. Then he looks completely unprepared and Dalton steps in in Seattle, has a decent game under immense pressure, and it's right back to Bryce. All his mechanics are terrible and he's having the worst rookie season ever and Frank doesn't bench him?  You dont have to be a conspiracy theorist to know Bryce wasn't ready to be a day 1 starter. Everything with Bryce, then coaches, and the FO seemed forced.
