I Was Not Impress With Matt Moore Today

Moore wasn't bad. He wasn't that good, certainly not up to the savior role many were ascribing to him.

He got the win, and that says something. But when your defense gets five interceptions and your facing a 1-10 team... perhaps 16 points is a bit on the light side.

But as I watched the game, and after Moore's interception, I started thinking maybe it isn't the quarterback position that is screwing it all up around here. Moore's passes were off the mark very much like Jake's were, he was pressured similarly (a bit lighter, though), but in the end, his game wasn't that different from one of Jake's squeakers.

Go figure, though.

What the fvck are you smoking, or injecting into your veins???

You drag someone off the bench, that hasn't been given a true chance yet, and you want to talk sh!t about his play from one game, but approve of a veteran QB that has been a turn over machine????

You have got to be kidding me....................:mad5:

    • KP is not a straight up carbon copy but they look awful close to me.  T
    • You are right. At the same time I don’t think people are watching games going come on Bryce put it on the ground or sail it OB or whatever. They just have trouble seeing him turning his 3 or four or five top games of 2025 into the weekly standard outing. Which you expect for the kind of money he will ask for (speaking for myself anyway).
    • In terms of comparing Pickett and Young's arm talent it's basically a push at best. Pickett is sitting at 6.2 yards per pass attempt for his career while Bryce sits at 6.0 Last season Bryce was 6.3 in yards per pass attempt. Only Justin Fields Spencer Rattler (both 6.2) Kyler Murray (6.0) 41 year old Joe Flacco (6.0) 44 year old Phillip Rivers (5.9) rookie Cam Ward (5.9) and Tyrod Taylor (5.8) had less pass yards per attempt than Bryce Young in his third season as a starter. Folks going around acting as if it is beyond the pale to say Pickett might have a better arm than Young are living in an alternate reality. You can choose to not believe your own eyes after 46 games but everyone else will acknowledge reality and move forward accordingly.
