Young shows up to the combine carrying so much weight he couldn't do anything but interviews. Red Flag

 

Then at his Pro Day still doesn't do anything but throw, and more interviews. Another Red Flag

 

Now he has cancelled the rest of his visits. Yet another Red Flag.

 

Sounds like a kid that has trouble following set protocols. He is too cool for all that stuff other QBs go through. He definitely seems like he is way too special in his own mind.

 

And he is still short.

Aren’t you the guy trying to convince himself Young fans wouldn’t accept Stroud but Stroud fans were gracious and were very open to Young?

I love they say that while inventing these Young character assassinations in their mind. 

Would love some examples of Young guys trashing Stroud like this.

It’s not personal at all, it’s just a funny complex you have. I haven’t seen any Young guy trash Stroud like that. 

I know it’s just a few of you, I’ve argued plenty that the majority will accept either guy. I’m laughing at how ridiculous this superiority complex you have about this while also being one of the few that wouldn’t accept both guys.

It's ok, I don't expect much from the Young crowd. After all, folks who gleefully call Stroud fans "Size Whores, and Size Morons" don't have a leg to stand on.

Another reason I know you don't know my true feelings on this years QBs is because you don't even know which one I prefer. 

 

And lastly. There were a bunch of Stroud fans that said they would be happy with either. Not many Young fans said the same about Stroud. Just food for thought.

It would be good food for thought if all the Bryce avatars haven’t been explicit in talking about how they would be happy with Stroud.

Regardless calling out one group for not supporting both QBs, while not supporting both QBs yourself is comical.

I’ve been making short jokes for a while in here and I’m a Bryce fan, have fun they are a good time. 

Hope you’ll join most the board and support him when he comes here as well.

My official stance on Bryce is, he will probably be fun to watch. But I don't expect a long career for the kid. I truly worry for his safety.

Dude, you are arguing points that just don't carry the weight you feel they do.  He has been scrutinized by the people whom are paid to know more about any player than you can fathom.  And they still believe he's worth it,  and that it's  not close. 

So obviously,  your missing a lot in your evaluation.

      I think you have to factor in that we're still not an attractive proposition for Head Coaches. You're not getting the cream of the crop if you fire Canales a year after winning the NFC South, especially considering the situation he walked into.

      Honestly, I dont  think he should be on the hot seat yet. A bad start to next year, then yes. Despite our mistakes on play calling this past season, we played better than anticipated overall. Bryce showed improvement and maturity (although still not nowhere close to our expectations). Better record and 2-15 to 5-12 to 8-9. Despite what we feel the stats dont lie we are improving by 3 wins a year. Could 11-6 be our expectation. That's a high bar but at the rate we are going, thats what its looking like. We all want to see a 5-12 to a 13-4 record but we are methodically moving up. Success doesnt happen overnight (well in most cases).  IMO we are struggling mostly on the defensive end. LB and edge are our biggest weakness. I see Bryce making improvements (even though I was a Bryce hater) next year. Biggest concern is LT on offense. How to fix this? We need a big name edge or to trade up and get a big name edge or LB and pick up one in FA and draft one. Also if in the 3rd we can pick up a TE. Dont know if Sanders is the answer or Tremble (even though I love Trembles blocking and power after the catch). If these two can get their footwork together they would be great. Maybe all they need is a better TE coach. And if Brooks can stay healthy and be the back we thought he could be, man that would be great
