Matt moore very likely to start

So all those speculating the injury isn't real and all those speculating Fox would start Jake this week are full of crap as usual.

So lets make some more bogus predictions expecting to be right one of 10 times.

As for those believing if Jake starts in a week or 2 if Moore doesn't play well suggests he wasn't hurt, how long do you think it takes to heal a finger? After all he was only out 3 games in 2006 when he seriously hurt his thumb. Surely the thumb is more critical to his grip than a single finger. I said Moore would get his shot and he is. If he wants to keep playing all he has do is play well. It isn't that complicated.

Jake's career as a starter should be over. I think his injury is real, and lying about an injury is an extremely foolish idea. If I owned the Panthers, and I found out that Fox lied, or told other employees to lie about Jake being injured, then I would fire Fox on the spot.

That isn't true. Based on Fox's record....Moore is done the moment Jake is healthy enough to play.

See Godfrey/Martin.

    • There probably isn’t an orthopedic surgery that has had more improvement in technique and outcomes over the last two decades than the acl repair. Because of its importance in pro sports and the sheer number that surgeons do there have been lots of opportunities to practice 1. Better techniques - arthroscopic v open surgery means people heal faster  2. More training - all sports med surgeons have tons of experience doing them 3. better imaging - later generations of mri are more sensitive  4. better therapy - PTs have gotten better at rehabbing them and the theories of rehab have improved a lot. No idea about brooks in particular tho, but I’d describe that overall situation as “not great”
    • If Freeling or either of the Utah OTs dropped to 19 I'd be more than happy honestly. Our OT situation isn't great with an aging Moton at RT and a mess of a situation at LT if Walker goes down at any point in time.  What I'm expecting the Panthers to do is probably draft another weapon like Sadiq or KC Conception. That's been their track record in drafting R1 thus far. None of the defensive talent projected to be around 19 stands out to me. Unless they just want to draft a LB early (Rodriguez,  CJ Allen, Anthony Hill, Jake Gollday).
