I had one at 37 and my last one at 44. I got snipped after that.

Back on target I can't wait to see Bryce on the field. I'm hoping I can manage to make it for training camp this year.

It's been a long time since I was this excited about panther football. Everything I see about Young just gets me even more excited.

Yeah, kids are great but there should be an age limit on making them.

But to the topic of this thread, this is the first time in years I've had any hope for this team. Like you I am eager to see how the little guy performs for us. He's got it between the ears and had done it at every level he's played so he has it in him. It's weird to me that years ago that I was hoping the Panthers would somehow draft Young.  But I knew we couldn't be that lucky. Now that they ended up drafting Young I am somehow still in shock by it. I'm never this lucky. I guess I am holding my breath until he plays a few games.

The staff is light-years ahead of the last group and that gives me as much or more hope than the players we have. If they can work as a cohesive group and get the players bought in we just might see the playoffs every year at minimum.  I want to own the nfcs.

It’s not easy to have kids that age…. Genetically we lose sterility around age 45… so Pacino is either really lucky/unlucky (depending on how you look at it) or hiding that it’s not really his kid.

Pacino whipping it out at 85 like...

    • Kalkbrenner and Sion James received regular contracts and not two ways, so the Hornets have some work to do to cut the roster size down.
    • Gustavsson would be insane. I think we would have to break the bank to afford that move. Which, I don't think is necessarily a bad idea. Ultimately, Freddie isn't likely to be around more than a couple of seasons more. We can all agree that unless they have a fleet of sports psychologists working on Kochetkov, he will never be capable of getting his head on straight enough to compete.
    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
