Here is a list of every head coach that is in at least their second full season with their current team and whether they've had back-to-back winning seasons or not:

Jeff Fisher (1994): Y

Andy Reid (1999): Y

Bill Belichick (2000): Y

John Fox (2002): N

Marvin Lewis (2003): N

Tom Coughlin (2004): Y

Lovie Smith (2004): Y

Brad Childress (2006): Y

Gary Kubiak (2006): N

Mike McCarthy (2006): N

Sean Payton (2006): N

Wade Phillips (2007): Y

Mike Tomlin (2007): Y

Norv Turner (2007): N

Ken Whisenhunt (2007): Y (on pace to this year)

John Harbaugh (2008): Y (on pace to this year)

Mike Smith (2008): N (on pace for a losing season)

Tony Sparano (2008): Y (on pace to this year)

Jim Zorn (2008): N

Only eight of the nineteen head coaches that meet the criteria have not had back-to-back winning seasons, John Fox being the longest tenured. The only one that can come close is Marvin Lewis and he'll have a chance to change that stat in 2010, while Fox won't have a chance until 2011. Five of eight head coaches that have only been around with their teams since the start of '07 already have or are on pace to have back-to-back winning seasons.

If Fox stays, a full decade of Foxball will have been unable to produce a single set of back-to-back winning seasons.

It's not just about that, its comparing other coaches in the NFL and is very good analysts against those that think Fox should stay.

      I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......

      Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.

      Nah we just talking about giving a platform and normalizing predators (who both beat women) opinions and celebrating it if it fits your narrative.  If that's fun I'm fine being a miserable fug by not supporting P.O.S like that. N b4 you call me a libtard or some other dumb ish know I'm an Anarchist/Libertarian and believe both these dudes should get a complete ass whooping (at min) or something worse for what they have done to women in this world.
