Riley Cooper- Florida

I like this kid. He has prototypical size, 6'3” 215lbs. He's fast, runs the 40 in the 4.4 range. Has good hands, he makes some clutch catches but also I have seen him drop a few as well. And my favorite part is a great blocker and doesn't complain about that role. Urban Meyer said he was the best blocking receiver he had ever had. Who knows how good he can be as he has been a footnote to the likes of Harvin and Murphy and all the playmakers that have been through Florida (not to mention a good pocket passer as a QB). I think he has always been a good blocker but the last two years he has progressed very well to a well rounded possession (with a hint of speed) receiver. As far as projection, I have heard anywhere from 4th to UDFA. I would love to get him in the 4th, where I see him going.

I would love to see Gilyard in a Panthers jersey, every time I have seen the man play he is a playmaker.

Dewayne Harris from ECU. If he comes out. He might be had in the 3rd round. He is a Desean Jackson type. He makes things happen.

I saw the Houston game on TV. Everytime he touched the ball you held your breath. This guy is a playmaker.

Jordan Shipley would be a good fit in our offensive scheme, he reminds me a little of wes welker, but shipley has proven himself on ST's also, he can take it to the house at anytime and he's faster than Jarett. I think carolina should draft him to help out this year and focus on next's years draft which AJ Green from Georgia could possibly enter...That would be a monsterous addition...just throwing that out there

He is always a deep threat averaging 13.6 yards per reception in his 4 year career at Texas, which included an 88 yarder this season in the game against Texas A&M. He also has no fumbles in his career at Texas.

Terrell Hudgins- Elon- Hudgins has 51 career touchdowns, 394 receptions, and 5,220 receiving yards in his four year career at Elon, which includes two games where he recorded 3 touchdowns. He is a big and physical receiver standing at 6-2, and 236 pounds. He has no fumbles in his career at Elon. Hudgins will be the most underrated player in this years NFL DRAFT.

Mardy Gilyard- Cincinnati- Gilyard Has 25 career touchdowns at Cincinnati and 2,962 receiving yards. He is also a deep threat averaging 15 yards per reception in his career at Cincinnati. He also has 1 rushing touchdown and no fumbles in his career.

Dezmon Briscoe- Kansas- Briscoe has 31 career touchdowns and 3,240 receiving yards in his three year career at Kansas. He is a big physical receiver standing at 6-3, and 200 pounds. He is a deep threat averaging 14.3 yards per reception in his career. He has 1 career rushing touchdown and no fumbles. My Personal Favorite

i'm only interested in ones that we have a shot of getting. of course it's good to know about the best ones in the draft in case someone falls but otherwise, its just good to educate yourselves on what is reasonable for your situation.

maybe the next time we suck we'll have at least an early first round pick to show for it. of course this is a better idea if the rookie pay scale gets put into the next CBA.

I also like Danario Alexander. The end of that kid's season was unreal. I understand his stats can be inflated due to the system he is in, but I think he could be a solid receiver not taken in the first round. He's listed as 6-5 215, so I'd like to see him put some weight on. But I think he could be solid.

I have my eye on Mike Williams of Syracuse. Big talent that has off the field issues and quit the SU team at about mid-season.

Now this is obviously a huge gamble but this guy was considered a 1st round talent, by some early boards, that will drop to i'm guessing 3rd b/c of those off the field issues.
