Joe Flacco 135.6

Peyton Manning 134.4

Matt Moore 123.2

Ben Roethlisberger 121.9

Matt Schaub 107.0

Matt is keeping some interesting company these days no?

Still a long way to go, still not completely convinced he is out long term starter.

That said, he did insure one thing last night, he will be on a NFL roster next season. Hopefully its ours.

It was definitely a good stage to perform on last night. And a good game for Panther fans. I was worried we would have another statistically okay performance but few points which is all that matters. But Moore made some great throws and receivers like Smith and Barnidge really helped him out. But that is the nature of a good team. They play well together and make each other better.

I agree with you Zod, I still think we need to begin acquiring QBs in the draft, but Moore played a hell of a game last night and has improved from week to week. Still not sold he's the long term answer, but last night was inspiring.

Same here.

I don't think we can for certain say that Moore is not the answer right now, though. For him to have a game like that against a top-tier defense and in his, what, sixth game as a starter? I'm eager to see what he can do in the remaining two games.

This is Moore's chance for a big payday. Finish season strong, then spend offeseason working hard on the Mid-Range passing accuracy and lots of study time learning how to read defenses. Come into training camp and take starting job, have good season and Cha Ching: $40 Million/5yr deal easy.

This is a playoff team, not in the playoffs thanks mostly to Jake and Fox refusing to bench him back in Sept.

It convinces me even more of what I said before... dump Jake, keep Moore, get an FA QB and draft a mid-round QB and let them compete for it. This way we have a starter a decent backup and a guy to learn the ropes/emergency QB.

What would we have to gain by ditching Jake when we will have to pay out the rest of his contract regardless?

In my mind, there are few better options as a backup quarterback for this team than Delhomme. He knows the team and the offense better than anyone and he obviously has chemistry with most of the players (even though you wouldn't think so at times this season).

I think these next two games will tell us if Moore is worth keeping. Even if we do keep Moore, I want to see us take a quarterback with our first pick.

I'm with you on this. Moore may very well be the answer. I'm curious to know what others are seeing that have them writing off Moore so quickly. Is it his lack of experience, or are people simply looking for the next Drew Brees?

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
