What's unrealistic about competing in what many considered to be a weak division.

If the Saints and Falcons can make moves to improve in the off-season, it's "unrealistic" for Panther fans to want the same.

We did.

One of the biggest moves was that we traded up to draft a franchise quarterback.

But again, that was a move whose biggest benefits were always going to pay out in future seasons, not this one.

So Moore was the difference.

He was underpaid then during his stint here.

Moore is a difference, and given the struggles of our pass game right now, probably a big one.

Regarding the roster as a whole though, right now we've got to mostly solid defense and a good (if banged up) offensive line. That leaves the skill positions as the areas most obviously in need of upgrade.

And good news, we got a whole offseason to try and do just that.

Skill positions you mean Moore again?

Because besides him we upgraded in that department.

Tightend upgraded.

Hubbard and Foreman ran roughshod in the 2nd half of the season.

Sanders ran for 1200 last season so theoretically that's a upgrade also.

Sanders ran for 1200 behind the best offensive line in football against defenses that had to account for jalen hurts running. Then got benched in the playoffs.

Theoretically you are an asshat.

Sanders is still coming off ana injury.

Either way though, it's still new guys trying to get on the same page, which is why previous "all star" rosters have failed.

Yes. That is exactly what we did. We also downgraded at receiver by losing Moore. And we’ve got a massively downgraded offensive line by way of injury.

Any more brain busters?

Lord now the injury excuses, all teams have injuries they have to overcome you genius.

That wasn't premise of the video, the video stated the Panthers don't have the roster to compete against the Saints and the Falcons. But good news only morons believe that.

I’m sorry but this stuff comes off as damage control. We don’t have the 49ers roster, but we, once again have a defense with no offense.

Bryce gave away the game week 1, and Reich made McAdoo look like Bill Walsh week 2.

We lack depth, but we don’t lack talent.

Something ain’t right, and I expect this “all star staff” to figure out how to use players to their strengths…

Why would Trever Sikkema do damage control for the Panthers?

I think the point some are making is you can’t simply look at position groups in completely different schemes and tell who is upgraded where. I have definitely done this through the offseason. What people like @Mr. Scotare saying (and please correct me if I’m wrong) is bringing in a completely new staff with a completely different scheme on both sides of this ball is not only a huge adjustment but a process than takes more than 1 offseason to fully complete.

A rookie QB and every starting skill position player on offense not on the OL are all completely new this offseason. Plus they are all learning a new offense. It’s borderline like an expansion team. Then the defense is switching to a 3-4 which is great for Burns and Brown but the entire rest of the front 7 was made for a 4-3.  Plus they as well have to learn a new scheme.  Hopefully we will see some huge improvements as players get adjusted and comfortable in these new systems but injuries to Horn, Shaq, BC and others on a team that currently has no depth isn’t helping.

No, that's pretty accurate.
