Panther Jerseys (White, Black, Blue)

Since our inaugural season, the Carolina Panther jerseys have stayed pretty much the exact same. It has been around fifteen years now and was just wondering if anyone thinks they will change sometime in the near future? Don't get me wrong, I love them all and many friends of mine who are not Panther fans say our jerseys are some of the best in the NFL. I'm not talking new colors or logo, just a new design. Anyone think this is a possibility? Many teams have changed with the times but Carolina has not, to my knowledge or memory.

Who makes the call on new uniforms? Can fans submit ideas?

The Jags, who came into the league at the same time, recently made a change to their uniforms and I think they look great.

I think a new fresh look, along with new personnel, would be a good thing for our team. Kind of like an out with Delhomme, and a new team under a new leader with a different appearance. Still have my white K. Collins, black Timmy B, blue Steve Smith, black Peppers, and white Stewart.

I think they should have that all black helmet-n-threads look that they were rumored to be unleashing, but that was a while ago. Hope that happens sometime in the future.

I would like that only because it will then give us "throwback" jerseys....

Yeah I agree 100%, something along the lines of the Ravens uniforms. That, along with a beast defense, would be a scary site. Black helmets, jerseys, and pants, with electrics blue accents would be nuts.

I've always wanted the Panthers to have throwbacks, would be nice to have.

I don't know about you guys, but I think the white jerseys are the best in the NFL. Not a big fan of the black ones though. The blue ones are.. interesting.

I think we actually had an interesting thread about this awhile back. People posted up some really awesome looking new uniforms.

It has been almost 15 years now of basically the same uniforms. I think it's definitely time for a change, even if it's just something small like the pants or helmets or whatnot.

Personally, I hate the white uniforms. I wish we'd keep the blue alternates as our regular home jerseys (maybe with black pants). Eh, that's just me though.

Maybe we can get some more photoshops going on here. See what everyone else thinks.

I agree I do like the white ones! Though I should note that when I said we should get the all black version it would be another alternate not a replacement. And for the record I think the blue ones are hideous.

I doubt we will ever redesign the uniforms... I think the big cat values tradition.

I do think it would be very cool for us to have black pants to go with the black jerseys. The silver pants could be worn as alternates with our silver jerseys.

An all black uniform needs to be made. And I think the black jerseys with white pants would be cool every once in a while. I don't think the jersey needs to be redesigned or anything.

JR wants to be like the Steelers, Cowboys, Packers, etc. Sure, they've made tweaks to their uniforms over their histories but for the most part they've stayed the same. You don't create tradition by changing up the look. I'd love to see black pants, with the black shirt and silver helmet...but we will wear our current uniforms for a long long long time. I mean, what do you think of when you hear 49ers, Packers, Bears, etc? That's what JR wants 50 yrs from now when someone asks, what do you think of when you hear Panthers.

I am a supporter of possibly white helmets and shirts with black pants, having blue as the accent color. Could anyone mock that up?
