Nothing wrong with the comment. Its not a slam. Sounds like that haven't made an offer, or haven't made one he is willing to accept. He is saying that if they don't want to make a decent offer, he will go elsewhere. Its obvious he can still play. Maybe not as a #1 or 2 receiver, but be a veteran #3.

Moose doesn't look nearly as old since Jake went out with the "injury." He isn't used up like many people have suggested. I would be happy with Moose being the #2 again next year.

honestly i would rather part ways and bring in a younger #3 like walter from the texans. idk, but he may not cost much more than moose, and has alot of years left. moose imo, should only be a backup plan as the #3 at this point. we need to some youth at the wr quick. right now, it appears kenny moore is or only "young" wr worth a darn (with jarrett being deactivated). i would bring in atleast 1 quality FA (floyd and/or Walter) and a 2nd or 3rd round rookie (i would love benn, briscoe, or tate) and a later round wr (mccluster, stephen williams, riley cooper).

i mean i love what moose has done for us, but we really need to get some guys we can count on past 2011 in here soon. if we had 1 or 2 wrs that showed some promice the last 2 years i wouldnt mind keeping him till they are ready, but at this point, we have 1 wr worth a damn and thats smitty. after that its a real crapshoot and we have 0 growth out of jarrett this year and moore is just a slot/4th wr. we need to get someone in to hold down the #2 fort for more than 1 or 2 years. that isnt moose, and imo we dont have the bank to keep moose and bring in 1 or 2 quality FA wrs.

I like moose and what he's done here. But if stays he stays, if he goes he goes. The team needs another playmaker opposite Smith, he's not that guy anymore. Good luck either way you can still play just not at your current status.

I think moose is a big reason our run game is so good. His down field blocking is among the best in the nfl for a receiver and I think smitty has learned a great deal from moose in regards to blocking. I would keep him for this reason alone. Yea we still need another receiver but I would not get rid of moose for some un-proven guy.
