good to see he can win big games.

Against rival Valencia in the CIF championship on Dec. 7, 2001, Moore was a one-player tour de force. He threw four touchdowns and for 277 yards in the 42-13 victory, adding on 95 yards on the ground and a rushing score, which came on a brilliant 60-plus yard scamper.

Great read. Sounds like a good kid who is well liked in his community. I only hope he can continue his success here next year.

Rep.

The Panthers scooped him up immediately from the Cowboys. They obviously saw potential in him. Now he shows several great performances against great teams.

How is that not enough to give him a the start over another QB who sailed for 18 INT's and 8 TD's? Sigh.... Fox, do the right thing!!

Sometimes all it takes is a chance to make it happen. This kid seems like one of those cases. Insert him in the game as a starter and the developmental ceiling seems to take off when it was reportedly stagnating during his tenure as a 2nd and 3rd string QB. He has now come in off the bench in two seasons and showed some good skills and won games. Maybe the feeling of being responsible for the team as the starting QB triggers something that pushes him to the next level. When it works, it's a wonderful thing to watch unfold. I hope this weekend's game solidifies his value as the future QB here.

    • Trade up for a project was dumb, he's gonna be 25 next month. By the time you're deciding on whether he's worth the 5th year option or a big contract you're already gonna be thinking about moving on soon either way.
    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
