I just can't see the Rams taking anything but a QB. Suh is the most impressive specimen in this draft, but the Rams have a catastrophy at QB. Possibility that they trade back so allow someone to jump up for Suh? Is a DT worth #1 money?

Suh is worth every penny of #1 money. The Rams would be foolish not to take him. They can get a decent QB in the second round. Suh is a once in a generation type of player.

I concur. The Ram's offense is a catastrof**k. They either take another Olinemen or a QB. Depending on pro days and the combine, it could very well be Clausen or Bradford.

Speaking of which, I can't believe you have The Golden Calf of Bristol going before Clausen, who is arguably the most pro-ready QB coming out this year. You can argue Bradford before The Golden Calf of Bristol, but not The Golden Calf of Bristol before Clausen.

i bashed the brown/goodsen deal, but right now, it looks worth it. Brown showed he could play, even if it was as a 3rd down specialist. He should get better with age and hard work(know for).

I believe this is VASTLY over-looked is brown's effect on pep. Its looks like a positive one...

That once in a generation player will achieve nothing if he has a shocking supporting cast.

For the first time in a long while there is a genuine legit number one going into the draft, barring any injuries etc. So people might actually be interested in trading up into the top spot. If the Rams can trade down, a few spots, pick up more high draft picks AND land their QB then they are moving the franchise in the right direction.

A DT can win you games, but not championships. DTs can be nullified by game plans, QBs can't. Whislt Suh is the unquestioned #1 player, spending that amount of guarenteed money on a DT, is not a totally guarenteed thing.

I agree that if they can move the #1 for more picks then it would be worth it for the Rams. If not, and it is notoriously difficult to move the #1, then Suh has to be the man. Pair him up with Chris Long and you have yourself the makings of a real damn good D-line.

Pretty much though, with all of the problems the Rams have they are going to have to decide. O or D, and go that direction whole-heartedly in the draft. Next year work on the other side of the ball. They have a poo ton of problems all over the field. They are an absolute wreck.

    • The #Panthers explored the possibility of adding Jaire Alexander, but there was never an offer made, a league source told @theobserver.   https://x.com/mike_e_kaye/status/1935436577649401872?s=46
    • Yes I agree, the future RT could easily be christ. When he shocking re-signed here for the cheap, he said part of the reason was the OL coaching staff.  I've already thought too much about 2026. The RT has all the options, including resigning Motown. I was never a big fan, but he's solid and peptides and stem cells can fix a gippy knee. If he makes it though this year and wants to return, why not for 2 years 16 million?? Or like you said give the job to Christ or draft your RT...... that I feel is the best current method. With both OGs in the 20 million per cap range and Icky......ooooooooooo boy he could be the first 30 million per OLmen in NFL history. That's a huge portion of cap space for the OL, which I agree with, but in order to offset those 20 and 30 million deals... you need cheap rookie contracts. (unless Motown would take a huge pay cut and whoever the C will be).  This is the deepest OL I can recall in Panthers history.  I believe Morgan should try and trade either Kingston or Zavala.  I didn't even talk about Yosh, Tarquin, or Walton. Yosh is same age as christ and why not him as RT after good swing tackle years? Tarquin is a UDFA on the prayer program, 150,000 in guarantees and why not him in 2026? Walton seems to be a OL coach favorite, he followed the Tampa Bay staff here after 2 years there and add in one year here, he's stuck around for some reason. I think they need to spend very light on RT and Panthers have lots of options, I love it.
    • That better not be the case. They need to be ready week 1. The easiest part if their schedule is the first few fames
