Fox Staying for 6 Mil ?

Has anyone heard that Fox has a new 6 year, 6 mil contract with the Panthers? I heard this on the John Boy and Billy show this morning from the Charlotte football writer who travels with the team. Says he was the first to get the news.

I came here today to see if it got posted or anyone was talking about it. I don't see anything or anybody saying nothing. So is it true or not?

No, I swear this is what they were talking about. The 6 mil was per year. They were also talking about how you put that much money out it makes it hard to invest in some good players/workers for the stadium, right on down the line. Not sure if he thought Fox was not worth it or what that was about. I also thought to myself any coach is going to demand a several mil to even entertain the idea of coming our way.

This guy says he was the "1st" to get the news and it is the only news I have heard at all about it. I'll keep looking for any further info on this matter.

I Googled it and also went to the John Boy web site, I also went to the Official Carolina web site..no news anywhere. I wish I had something to back this up because I really did hear them say this.

Yeah, you would think it would be all over the news or web by now. I figured you Charlotte guys would listen to the John Boy show on Fridays because that is when they do the football rundown.

I'll eat my Panther Hat if this turns out not to be true. You guys hold me to it, I heard what I heard.

    • I wouldn’t be surprised if the Pats win it all or at least get there. Maye is awesome.
    • Young quarterbacks Drake Maye, Bo Nix, and Bryce Young have led their teams to undefeated records since October.   Drake Maye has guided the New England Patriots to a 5-0 record in that period, with 2,285 passing yards and 17 touchdowns in nine games. Bo Nix has directed the Denver Broncos to a 5-0 stretch, throwing for 1,976 yards and 17 touchdowns, contributing to a 7-2 overall start. Bryce Young, in his second season, has led the Carolina Panthers to a 4-0 run since October, accumulating 1,390 yards and 11 touchdowns amid a 4-4 record.   Undefeated QBs since start of October (min. 4 starts)   Drake Maye 5-0 Bo Nix 5-0 Bryce Young 4-0   Bryce Young when asked about his mindset during game winning drives: "You don’t rise to the occasion you fall back to the level of your training."
    • 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons.    3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity.    5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
