i like jordan shipley. he was the only one i actually got to watch in action. i completely agree with the analysts who were workin' the commentary last night. they said he reminds them of wes welker, and he'd be a great slot receiver for us. i still have faith in dwayne jarrett, especially now that he has a quarterback who's gonna get him the ball and who will have more faith in him as i do. a couple years from now, he could be the next randy moss. i know it sounds crazy, but i just see that kind of fight in him.

ps: i also don't think we'd be able to get shipley unless we trade up to get him... which means another first rounder gone. but i don't think hurney will do that again this year since it really wasn't worth it last season to get brown who only had a handful of pressures and sacks at the end of the season.

no way in hell he goes in the first round. he's a 2-3 round guy, we'd be able to get him. i think there are other better receivers that we could pick up over him though. He'll be 25, not much room to expand from an age standpoint.

Second round WR this year, journeyman QB in the 3rd, first round QB next year if need arises, we can get 'er done this year with moore and a round 3. Jake Locker and Ryan Mallet next year are the first two clear front runners, and if we are in need of a QB we will be in grasping range of one.
