Practicing at noon. Idk if it’s a full practice or another optional but it better be a full.

RBA needs to find 2 new line combinations because 2 & 4 are useless at this point.

Re: Svech. The go ahead goal came off him being tripped with no call. Tripp said it best last night that Svech will not get a call or benefit of doubt as long as he let's his emotions get in the way of playing smart hockey.

It was definitely a dive by Svech. Was he tripped, yeah kinda but Svech just needs to play and keep his emotions in check. It’s costing us now and if I were Rod, we have a heart to heart.

I wouldn’t say 4 is useless, they are forechecking better than 1 and WAY better than 2. Decent backcheck, had the only goal last night but haven’t been generating many goals recently.

For a team built around forechecking having your top two lines chasing the puck up and down the ice without controlling the neutral zone has really showed over the past half dozen games. It’s not good. Rod needs to drill fundamentals right now, skill will take care of the goals IF we focus on our game.

He was definitely tripped. Keep your emotions in check.

This guys on the radio even said 37 was trying to get a call. Sure he was tripped but the way he reacts to plays on the ice, and the refs know this now, he won’t get those calls.  He could have kept his balance and hustled down to stop a play. I hate the refs btw. You know this. I think the NHL has the worst refs in sports. I also think they have t out for us since rod has been so vocal about them.

Keep in mind it was the #3 D pair, who are a #2 pair anywhere else in the league, who scored that goal and it was pretty much Orlov himself who scored it, without a lot of help from the forwards.

Your point is taken, though. Time for the playoff teams to start gearing up and it looks like Carolina is encountering those who want to challenge them to even gain entry to the zone- that's not even a given anymore.

    • I fully expect them to pick up his 5th year , and they're waiting for him to put a full excellent consistent season of QB play in year 4 or 5. If that don't happen,  they'll eventually cut ties.  Here's to hoping he just goes on a team in 2026. The worst thing he could do is continue to see-saw us to around .500 records because it might be impossible to replace him at that point unless youre willing to do the veteran qb carousel poo we did from 2019 to 2023.
    • What do you think of Bryce Youngs career thus far? Are you excited about his progress or is it not enough for you? I included a poll of ranking his performance through 3 years thus far.  I personally think he's made some decent progress. Has had some high moments (last half of 2024, Rams game, ATL game in 2025)  but in my mind, those are still outweighed by the many more lowlights thus far (ex turnovers, missed throws, poor decisions)  It's a very mixed bag for me. He's done enough to get a 5th year option but by no means should we lock him in with a 50+ mil a year multi year deal. I want to see him play consistently well for a full year before that happens (yes, I'm still saying that going into year 4. That might be telling).  Just sucks when you see CJ Stroud, Jayden Daniel's, Caleb Williams almost immediately lighting poo up with their arm talent. Maybe Bryce is just an ultra slow burn. I don't know what to think anymore. Guess we're gonna be stuck with him for a whilr unless we end up being bad enough to earn a high pick next year. I doubted it lol. Overall Stats for his career:       ● 14 W - 30L (regular season)       ● 0-1 playoffs record        ● 61.4% completion, 8291 passing yards, 49 TDs, 30 INTs  Year 1:       ● 2 wins, 14 losses      ● 60% completion rate, 2877 passing yards, 11 TD to 10 INTs, 5.5 yards per attempted pass Year 2:        ● 4 wins , 8 losses        ● 60.9% completion rate,  2403 passing yards, 15 TD, 9 INTs,  6.3 yards per attempted pass  Year 3:        ● 8 Wins, 8 Losses         ● 63.6% competition rate, 3011 passing yards, 23 TDs to 11 INTs  Playoffs         ● 1 game in year 3 ( 0 - 1 in playoffs)         ● 21/40 (52.5% completion rate), 264 passing yards, 1 TD, 1 INT.
