Gailey expected to be next Bills head coach

We have a new leader in the clubhouse to be the next Bills head coach.

Jay Glazer of Fox reports that Chan Gailey is expected to meet with the Bills for a second time Monday. Barring a breakdown in talks, he should be named the coach in the next 24-48 hours.

Why he wanted it: with Nix as GM, Marty would have more of a say in personnel matters. They were talked about as a potential combo in ATL a couple years ago.

That franchise needs a change. Ralph Wilson just needs to retire. Marty would've been a better upgrade. Instead they downgrade 10 levels lower than where they were.

The franchise has no money. Buffalo is steadily shrinking to nothing. Pretty soon the stadium is going to implode. It's a healthy situation.

That actually would make some sense. As I recall, Gailey was the Steelers OC for a period when they were trying to build the offense around Kordell Stewart.
