Is this surprising to anyone? While fans of other teams may say Smith is overrated and things of the sort, coaches and players have always said Steve Smith is the hardest player to cover. Not too long ago he was mentioned with Randy Moss as the only two players that teams had to completely game plan around.

We as fans know how good Steve Smith is. But it is incredibly frustrating to hear what other tools/fans around the league have to say about him. Revis just reiterated how good he is.

That's the reason I've posted this... I've heard it said that Smith is getting older, losing a step, etc., etc. For the best corner in the NFL to say this means a lot...

Think what Revis would have said if Smith actually had a QB who could get him the ball.

I feel bad for Smith, most times, as if he were with a team that had a consistent QB, there is no doubt, he would be the first Panther to make the HOF.

I don't know that he will now. Does not have the numbers or the rings.
